  1. I try and keep it to the weekends only these days mate. Feel much better / get more done that way too. But I still have a few on Fridays / Saturdays :duffer: Not started yet tonight as I've got to nip out to the kebab shop in a bit.
  2. He was a racist, he offended people, he was offensive. He was a very funny, successfull, fast thinking man with real tallent too.
  3. Frostwire is alegedly a free version of limewire turbo. I've used limewire and frostwire for about 2 years now without a single problem. Downloaded all sorts ;) Never had a problem. No UB40, mind. :duffer:
  4. I don't either - the wife made me give up.
  5. Forget Billing. JAE at Peterborough next weekend is where it's at. The UK's biggest Japanese car event. All the clever lads will be there.
  6. Lol - maybe a bit too obvious!
  7. Isn't that the one that Methadone Henry rebuilt from those old fire damaged breakers?
  8. Thanks for the kind thoughts chaps - not sure if I've got time at the moment to spend a day doing this. Plus midnight purple does look pretty much like black unless it's lit in certain ways. And I've got non standard wheels and exhausts. I could put the standard wheels back on I guess... But time's the main problem for me right now. A couple of thoughts - if anyone even thinks their car might be ok, don't be shy and let Chris know. I'm sure he'd rather have lots to choose from. Also, he kindly offered petrol expenses but that was in the south central forum - if someone's coming from much further I don't know if the it's reasonable to expect petrol money or not. Just a thought really. Anyway, if anyone thinks their car fits the bill and can spare the time, I'd say get i contact with Chris.
  9. That looks spot on. Nice one. :duffer: edit - get some mirrored / blued bulbs for those front indicators - would really finish it of beautifully.
  10. :D Well..... kind of the connosieur's choice. The appeal is VERY selective.....
  11. If a lorry hold me up for ages with one of those ten minute overtakes of another lorry that's 0.00001mph slower on a dual carriage way, it winds me right up. I wait for a hill, get in front of them and slow them down to about 30mph. They don't like it up 'em Mr Mannering.
  12. How very dare you! The auto NA is the connosieur's choice. ;) :slap:
  13. tyres, brake discs and exhaust are consumables really not nice when they all hit you at one though!
  14. You have to make these people stop and cut their throat at the road side. It's the only language they know. Old Ken, he knew the score. ;)
  15. Lol Got a minor hang over today. Shouldn't drink on a school night.
  16. Sorry mate, I'm drinking! No idea what you're up to! Hence :duffer :duffer: etc! Vive la Badger Frist Gold bitter. :duffer:
  17. edit :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:
  18. My favourite is the latest one with the four round headlights. The one before with pop ups was ok too but they're all probably raped by now. I'd definitely consider a GT4. Very nice cars.
  19. An auld Suzuki motorbike :duffer: :duffer:
  20. I'm 33. Didn't get a car till I was 21 and that was an auld metro. WHen I was 19 I did have a GSXR1100 that would do 115mph in second though. They were the days. :duffer:
  21. That Veyron looks minging. Give me a Lambo over that anyday. I don't care about the performance / price, it's just ugly. Polo Harlequin paint job or not.
  22. Lol - I never read Bravo Two Zero at all. I was just winding you up. Try 'The Moors last sigh' by Salman Rushdie and forget all this wizards and pixies nonsense.
  23. JAE for the hard lads and lasses who smoke behind the bike shed and know the score. Billing for teachers pets, the wusses the soft lads and the silky boys. ;)
  24. Have you read "Bravo Two Zero" by Andy McNab?
