  1. Think they sell them here: http://www.bikesecure.co.uk/pages/alarm_mine.html
  2. Skyline Purple : LP1 :nana2: :nana2:
  3. :D :D :D I wouldn't have bought my Z without this place. Do Houghtons have a lower age limit or mileage limit for their policies? (Just got my renewal through - £720!!!!)
  4. Cool - always fancied one of those but thought running costs could be high (isn't it 12 cylinders?) Amazed it's slower than a Z TT too.
  5. OOhhhh.. that's a bit too big!
  6. Gutting mate. It's a dillemma - get more external security or don't as it may draw attention to your lock up. I have some blank firing shotgun trip wire mines you're more than welcome to if you want, even if just to use in the short term in case they come back.
  7. One good mate is on Bali with his wife. Another was heading south from Laos about 2-3 weeks ago. I'd imagine they'll be fine though. Sumatra must have taken a right pounding considering how near it was to the epicentre. Glad your old man's ok.
  8. Enjoy the whisky mate! Hope to see everyone soon.
  9. I gave it a gentle clean and it's spinning happily (and quietly) away! Thanks gents.
  10. Picked up my car today after 4 days in a car park (where they'd driven it a short distance). It made a funny quiet singing noise all the way home which I traced to a fan in the plastic unit on the ceiling with the two map reading lights in. I blew out the dust and gave it a little squirt or silicone grease. Now it doesn't make the noise but I don't think the fan's turning either. Any ideas what happened, why and have I knackered the little fan. What's it there for? To keep the map lights cool? That'd seem crazy as it seemed to run constantly when the ignition was on and they're only little lights. Thanks in advance!

I was vacuuming in the nude... with a Dyson.... the hamster was out of his cage ... the au-pair was in the room .... I just tripped over .. my dresing gown flopped open ...I'd forgotten I had a jar of Bovril in my hand .... my phone was on vibrate ... just as the Mrs's younger sister came in... the dog must have been hungry...there was a lot of vegtables in the veg rack... and well... you know.... it could have happened to anyone...
  14. Unfortunately not - I'm with EasyJet!
  15. The RSPCC doesn't exist (or if it does it's not what you think it is). The RSPCA is for animals, the NSPCC is for children. Perhaps I could suggest the money goes to 'Chief Amlumie's Spiritual Healers'. I can forward it to them, post it to my home address and I'll do the rest. If the whole name is too long to fit on the cheque, just use the initials.
  16. Looked at a Bora 4motion - 4WD prone to expolding allegedly. Check out owners reviews on http://www.parkers.co.uk. (I'd go for the VR4 Gallant although service costs could be high)
  17. "he was a skater boy, he said see you later" etc etc she's a girl, who most famously sung that skater boy-girl geddit? ;-)
  18. I'm hoping for a Rolly Royce Silver Spirit, 1972, in silver, low mileage. Is there one on the list? Also, I'm of to Fife today for a few days but I think I can get on line there if my turn comes to choose (not that I'll hold anyone up anyway!) Thanks agan to the organisers and everyone who donated / bought tickets.

    Agreed
  20. Open crotch - the gentlemen's favourite.
  21. 30mph = posing zone so it's 20mph for me
  22.  The "skater boy"-girl - if that makes sense? You would though, eh, eh? etc etc
  23. Looking forward to a bit of Christmas draw meself :D
  24. I see your point but to an extent I don't mind the police stopping children having fireworks in public or being able to use 'reasonable force' to take a DNA sample.
