That's an abbreviation, not a true word surely?

Is 'ad' a word? You could start with 'am' and get there the same way though.

FAO all bikers
The problem with TLs is they're all owned by big northern lads who are 'in it for the crack' and work in the clutch fitting centre during the week and do enormous wheelies while wearing jogging trousers and a puffa jacket. In short, it was OK when it came out but they're pretty much all shagged now. For the sort of money you're thinking (exactly what I wanted to spend) I was prepared to consider a number of bikes and just wanted a really nice example, regardless of which bike it was. You'd get a nice 2001 ZX-6R for that money. I looked at two and nearly bought one of them. edit - or a firestorm like Rich says - post 2000 (HISS imobiliser equipped) are best thanks to a higher screen, FI and a bigger tank.

I wouldn't go near a TL. They're not that reliable, the R is heavy and both are less exciting than their reputations make people think.

Older bikes do suffer from wear on the suspension and chassis bearings. I just spent a similar amount on a bike and went for something newer and smaller. I've had R1s, GSXR1100s etc in the past too. For £2500 I'd go for a 1999 CBR600 or a 2002 Fazer 600. Not as exciting as a TL but you'll be quicker on them. If you do go for a TL-S, check the frame for cracks near where the rotary rear damper mounts - the frame will crack right through there. Try and get a bike with an aftermarket conventional shock as the rotary one is not good. Check the head bearings and remeber early ones made 120+ RWBHP while later ones were more like 105.

You sound great - marry me? Or if that's too much I'm always available for high quality*, low commitment sex. *ok, low to medium quality

gay
We probably are a bit homophobic to be honest. But I guess gay guys are used to it. Still, we're pretty keen not to be racist, we should be as tolerant and sensitive with gays too (especially the fit lesbians in porn films!)

QUIZ- What is this guy trying to do?
DIY gullwing doors?

Car at night
lol - that's why I was quick. 'Braniac' showed explosion due top phones and fuel wasn't likely anyway with a petrol filled caravan and ten phones.

Car at night
I was filling up with fuel and noticed the car looked great under the neon lights of the garage. I didn't get the picture quite right - quick pic with camera phone - but you get the idea. I'll have to have another go sometime with a proper camera.

Choices choices.....#2
They look really nice but if they're off an RX7 surely the PCD and/or offset will be wrong?

gay
This is waaaay less gay than interior design shows and soap operas my Mrs watches on TV Also, by the law of averages (1 in 10?) some of us probably are gay (not me - I'm a red blooded hetero). Or maybe gay blokes stick to MR2s and Jeep Wranglers and wouldn't drive a 300ZX.
