  1. Ebay number 4616393989 I'm going out for a meal though so will give it a miss. If it goes for near what it's at it's a bargain - I'm sure you could buy it, have a laugh on it for six months and sell if for £1400 odd in MCN later in the year. I guess the price will go up near when it finishes.
  2. I'll be there, joining the A1 convoy at Grantham.

(predicatbale respons) But we'll get there rather than break down!
  4. Is that as fast as a 3 litre Capri then?
  5. NICE looking car. And if you can make some money on it you'd be a fool not too.
  6. Mine uses the inner four brake light bulbs. Works well. I'd be reluctant to lose a reversing light but mainly as my rear windscreen is tinted.
  7. They're a bit of an 'obvious' choice too.
  8. Excellent - take it easy until you're used to it if you've come from a slower car.
  9. Nice one mate :duffer:
  10. 500bhp and out-of-the-factory-fresh. That'll take some beating!
  11. Is that your Z at Rich's house? He was over here in it the other day, bouncing it of the rev limiter and donutting it round the estate! :x:
  12. Crickey - thought the swear filter would tame that down a bit - sorry women / children etc
  13. She needs a good stiff cock up her arse, she does.
  14. Nice one Rich - look forward to seeing it soon.
  15. I think the SV from 2003 onwards looks alot better than earlier ones.
  16. My Z is Skyline Purple (paint code LP1 I think). I think it looks great - close to black on a dark day but really nice when the sun hits it. There's pics in my rides section (not sure how to do a link) but they're done on quite a dark day so don't show the colour at it's best.
  17. Get a 300ZX - you won't regret it if you get a nice one.
  18. Happy birthday lads. Yes, more pics please Paul. She'd be flattered if she knew. Well flattered / in a steaming rage.
  19. Some people (mainly women) just have no interest in cars. Try explaining to them you're blinging up the engine and they'll think you're nuts.
  20. The series VI (1999) had ultraviolet reducing, rain repelling glass with factory mirror tints on the little side windows and rear windscreen. ( )
  21. Most VFR400s are 15 - 20 year old sheds. You'll get a nice, clean 5 year old SV650 for £2K. 15-20 year old bikes handle like a pig on a roller skate unless every bearing and bush and all the suspension and linkages have been changed - which they never have. Despite being 15bhp more powerful, the SV is two insurance groups lower. Also most VFR400s are imports.
  22. The wife has got a blender from America. It has a two pin plug. Can we just get an adaptor that makes it three pin or do we need do do something about the voltage (ie US - 110 volts, UK 240 - volts) Any ideas? Cheers!
  23. ZXR400 are nice looking but I find them really cramped and to revvy to ride. The VFR is a better bet but most are shagged these days (same with ZXRs to be honest!). Remember checking the valve clearances on a 400cc 16 valve motor can be tricky! The CBR600F is a much better bike, as is the SV. The SV may not be the most exciting looking but you'll get a newer one than you would any of the others for the same money and bikes do really suffer with age (susupension, bushes, bearings etc). The SV was updated in 2003 with fuel injection and a much smarter looking fairing. They also sound great with a loud exhaust as they're a V-twin.
  24. J&S Accessories do some great deals - they have a website too.
  25. Good going if you do - I think it's about £4K a day IIRC.
