  1. I think you can BUT it has to be towed at more than 30 mph to avoid damage to the box. I also stand to be corrected
  2. They must have hidden the rust well for that photo !
  3. It's the later series non digital one.... Looks a bit an old British Leyland heater control though !
  4. Probably get done for defacing the Queens currency by sticking things on it !
  5. Someone who'd do that to a zed probably doesn't know the difference
  6. If it's data quality checking then tell them you've got good analytical skills and can use MS Office products like Word, Excel and Access to ensure that duplicates and mis-spellings can be quickly identified and corrected or validated Say the key requisite you see for the job is the way you can pay attention to detail without missing anything that is wrong
  7. blimey.... we've got domestics on the site now !
  8. I implemented an email system years ago..... Managers were reluctant to use it until I introduced a new footer which stated 'No response will be taken as assent to any request herein' Soon got them using it !
  9. Try Endsleigh 0800 283 571 I've also heard good reports about Carole Nash

Oh bugger..... Probably be up north for Easter....

Can't do a March one..... Zed's poorly and being nursed at Zedworld
  12. Yes, Jeff at zedworld fiitted them and I think he used the trick of earthing one of the wires in the connection..... Jeff can you explain please ?
  13. Got HID fogs.... see my earlier post in this thread. I've put 120w halogens in the main and the HIDs hide them on anything except a country road with a long straight. Then they do help but otherwise no. Local driving with dipped and fogs on (Albeit a bit illegal if it's not foggy) is like seeing daylight ! They are awesome....
  14. MArtin Brundle wasn't a world champ in F1.... Was he in WSC ?
  15. I meant HIDs don't fire up quick enough to flash as a main beam buld set..... not that with HIDs in DIPPED, you can't flash the halogen heads.
  16. Better to rent the garage next to it as well and wait in that one. Then you can catch them with stuff taken and batter them and claim it was all in self defence
  17. It wont be a scsi interface, probably IDE... and if you've replaced the hard drive check the block size.... see this link http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8557144.stm Hope this helps
  18. Well I've said it before and I'll say it again... The maual box makes you realise just how much power is there because you select what gear you want and when to change up and down..... BUT perversely, that makes you realise just how good the auto box was at smoothing the power delivery You pays your money and takes your choice !
  19. There are things from the auto box that are no longer required..... I had mine by Zedworld and Jeff mentione the Auto Selector sensor that stops the engine starting when a drive ration is selected so that needs disabling or fixing. Might be worth asking Jeff for a few pointers
  20. I've put HIDs in the dipped and Fogs The Fog HIDs are really good and bright
  21. Mate of mine in Aylesbury said he had spoken to him and he's looking at bringing in very late spec zeds again.... That's why I put up the post in the first place.
  22. Oh ok Well tell him he's on his last chance if he reregisters and all he's got to do is keep us advised of late model cars coming over. I mean that's his buisness and I'm sure we're all interested to see prices and condition etc, It'll reflect on our cars Still, it's not up to me but I'd like some communication with him for the benfit of all members.
  23. Banned for Good ? What for ? Can he be reinstated ?
  24. I didn't mean visit Kendal, you just stya on the main road and drive straight past ! The first traffic we would hit will probably be into Windermere and then round the Ambleside one way system, but we don't go all the way round that. Once we turn off for Langdale traffic should be light. The only problem I can see is that we'll meet cars coming the other way over the passes but that usuall sorts itself out with all the passing places there are. I've not had problems in the past even when I was in that convoy with the TVR, BM and Porche Speeds are generally very low so no problems if you're paying attention and the other drivers are as well Tony
