  1. It can be relocated Jeff @ Zedworld can tell you how 'cos he's done loads !
  2. When were you thinking ? But it's a bit far for me and Jan to come Another very good one is to go down the Langdale Valley from Ambleside and then over the passes and round to Wasdale Head to the Pub there. then back across the passes to Newby Bridge.... Good run in a Zed !
  3. You could probably get two more zeds for that !
  4. Gio is correct They only come on when the indicator is used AND the normal sidelights are on
  5. Yep 99 Octane in a TT is definitely best.... Strangely when the fuel delivery strikes were on my zed on BP ordinary ran like a dog but ran quite happily on Shell ordinary although didn't get the mileage that it gives on V Power Perverse or what ?
  6. If you subscribe they'll honour their offer for a free conzult .....
  7. I'll bring a multi meter with me on Sunday if that helps ?
  8. Well that's a relief then !
  9. Econ mode on the aircon and turning up the temp to max opens all the valves to the heater matrix so you can fill it/flush it I know the Aircon system itself is independent of the cooling system but it can call for heat and opens the valve to the heater matrix Thats why I said it above
  10. CAn't you take action against the managing agents ? Breach of their contract with you or something ?
  11. A couple of other points I forgot in earlier posts If you still have air con then switch to max in econ mode .... this opens the valves fully to the heater matrix and allows that to fill. And finally, when it's all sorted DON'T forget to drain some and put the antifreeze back in..... Tony
  12. There are various places it can leak from relatively unnoticed The two main feeds (alloy) at the front of the engine connect to two hoses coming off the block. That's the first place to check. Second the water pump. Third, which is difficult to check is the mass of pipes under the plenum that result in a 'water bypass' mod. fourth is the turbo water cooling. Lastly, radiator itself, Radiaitor cap as Richard suggested, top and bottom hose mountings although that should have been fairly obvious all along. No doubt there's a couple of others that will be posted up but try these for starters Might be worth filling it as best you can, starting it to get the water pump going top it up when that happens and then capping it and seeing if you can spot or hear the leak as it warms up. Make sure to remove the undertray so you can see any puddles before any damage is done Water leaks are a pain the proverbial.... On my Green TT I've had to replace every part of the water system including the pump, thermostat, radiator and expansion system PITA
  13. Where did you lose your keys ? Any way they might be recoverable ?

Hi Jane It was an OOPSY Jan leaving the Rolling Road bit on the list BUT does anyone have ideas for a location on the weekend ? We're going to come up from Filey, You're in Middlesborough and then others are further north so we need a convenient location for the majority I'll see what I can get on weather predictions for next weekend and throw that in as well and see what it looks good for ! Just suggest we all pencil it in and we'll all decide where within a few days Tony
  17. Does that 3.5 litres account for filling the oil filter ? or does that explain the half litre ? I remember Jamie at Zedworld filling the oil filter prior to refilling one oil change....

  22. If you know who made the locking nut you could contact them for a key - I had to That once before and they were very helpful about making sure I got the correct fitting Key
  23. For every inch increase in wheel size you have to have to have lower the tyre profile to maintian the original rolling radius which the speedo relies on There is a good site for the calculation at http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html Hope this helps
  24. Buy it, go to the DVLA office and say you want to transfer it to yours on a date and time and tell the insurance when and the transfer will take place and they'll issue a new cover note from that date and time and then take that to the DVLA and they'll change the tax disc and MOT documents Bit of a process but worth it the end See Mine !
  25. Blimey, Am I the oldest ? What about Vinz ? Where is he ?
