Hi mate hold old/what mileage is the clutch that is coming out?

I know a guy in Cardiff that has been spraying for 25 years and will do a top job for not to much money, let me know if you want his details.

24th is good but I am going to the drifting both days. I am happy to light up the BBQ in the evening at mine.

I know we have never understood car insurance but the latest quotes... I drive a 2.5 Audi A4 TDi which is registered for business use ~35,000 miles + 10,000 personal. The renewal from Elephant was £1200 for 10 months so £120/month The worst quote was £3600 so £300/month :shock: RAC came up with £780 so £65/month How do they work it out or do the have a lucky draw when you call???:confused:

Go for the one you would enjoy mate. I had a good payed job but they took the piss as I hated it there. In the end I could barely bring myself to get out of bed to go there, I lived 8 miles away- my new job is 180 miles away and I work there 3 days and 2 from home. Money has now increased and is better but at 1st it was the same- the difference is now I enjoy the job. The old firm would have me back tomorrow for probably the pay I earn now but I know within a few weeks I would hate it again and dread going to work, that is the worst feeling.

I am seriously considering this at the moment so what are the pitfalls? Got 2 places in Bulgaria, one to rent out and the other to live and the way the country and weather is going it's looking real attractive!!

Will be renewing at the end of month after payday. One thing, is it usual to only get 3 days notice by email because an email came on the 16th which didn't say when I had to renew and today it's ended! :cry::shock: I think a little more notice would help members and would be worth looking at, hope no one wants to pm me about the meet or their scre*ed!

I'm back in the UK now. The weekend of the 23/24th of August there is no karting at Llandow but..... How about the 24th at Llandow to watch the drifting that is going on all weekend, the British drift championships are on the Saturday and another event on the Sunday, tickets are £15 for 2 days or £10 for one. Any one up for this, Meet there in the morning to watch for a few hours, then when everyones had enough maybe a drive back to Cardiff and weather pending a BBQ at mine??? Will put a post in Bristol/Gloucs region to see if anyone wants to come across. We need a good turn out so I can take some pics for the club calender next year.

Should we see what's available 23 or 24 August then? I am away from tomight for a week so if someone could find out?

To cheer you up more on how well they run the government- Somebody I know works for the prison service dealing with pay issues, try this situation. Mr Smith a prison officer has decided to smuggle illegal items into the prison for the inmates, he gets caught and sacked. Oh and I forgot to mention they calculate hos loss of potential earnings with them becuase they've sacked him and give him a payout !!!!! And this one. Mr Jones a prison officer has decided to go sick again, one of many times and is eventually it gets so bad and he misses so much time they 'medically retired' can't use the sacked word. No one else is runnng one on the forum so fancy the challenge The last project car I did was a supercharged MI16 peugeot dimma 205, I just like the enjoyment of doing something fairly unique. Beside if I blow the turbo then I won't have to take the engine out like you lot :tongue:

Have you seen my diary for August!! Seriously though, I wanted to get the manual conversion done at the same time and the single turbo conversion which I recon will take me at least 6 weeks so say goodbye summer :cry: It had crossed my mind to just put the new engine in and run it for a month or two then take it back off the road again and do the above but not sure I can face two engine outs:confused:
