  1. The standard silicone hoses will take 180°C which is more than adequate for the application, I am running these on my engine without any problems. Just to be correct- The extra plies only increase burst pressure and not temperature rating, standard 3 ply at that bore size will take more pressure than an OEM hose which only tend to have 1 ply. Fluoro liner is for oil protection and not temperature so wion't make any difference, if you want higher temp rating then you need nomex fabric plies instead of polyester. These in silicone would only cost £5-6 each so are better and not expensive. If you buy a one of the well known makes and not cheap ones from ebay etc then they will be fine. Sorry to sound matter of fact but those who know what I do for a living can confirm I know what I'm taking about :D
  2. No I can't:tongue: Things like tax, bank account and earnings, I'm sure it depends on if your out of the country for 9 months or more or if it's a permanent move. Also did you keep a UK address or have you sold up? Lastly I assume mail is redirected?
  3. Ah but do they do the heater ones as well????
  4. In your recent post about the move http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=115850 I posted a few questions, any chance of an answer. I am completely fed up with this country!!!
  5. Thanks for the info :slap:
  6. One inlet and one outlet for the intercooler, then a Y hose directly in line with the outlet (centre line) so should send roughly equal amounts of air/pressure along each leg of the hose. Think it will be more even than 2 outlets off the intercooler as closer to the throttlebodies.
  7. Engine nearly done!! :hyper: Will post pictures of the amount of stuff thats be stripped and binned later!
  8. Drop Kim a line as I know there was a proposal recently to split some regions into smaller areas and Wales was one of them but it wasn't passed. It's hard to get members to meets in South Wales so maybe every few months a big 'super' meet in Mid Wales for North and South?
  9. Still confused with these three So the bottom one (large grey) is wired to the box? The smaller grey one and orange one, I don't get what he has done, I have a manual loom and there are no plugs for these. Has he joined them or just cut and taped over them?
  10. Know that feeling to mate, always a question of ' if I actually get 5 minutes as opposed to when I get 5 minutes' :D Very happy with the job todate
  11. The original thread is here. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=109659&highlight=single+turbo+conversion But just to update you all, it's still going on. I had the car on the road with a tempoary (but dodgy) ngine which I blew up last month! In the background Jimmer has been building me a new engine with Wiseco pistons, eagle rods, cometic head gasket and 800cc injectors which is almost done. So with the engine dead it was time to get started on the next stage so the old engine is out and today the autobox is out,all the piping for the TT system is out, hicas is out and lastly air con is out :smash: I'm sure the car will be 100kg lighter by the time it's all gone!! So going back in is a manual box and the new engine with the T78 turbo, I will post some pics in the next few days, right now I'm off for a well earned :duffer:
  12. I did go to specsavers........ they were closed!
  13. Couldn't find any write ups so making it up as I go along. I have my engine out as well, is yours still in?
  14. I have just dropped out my auto box and I am now looking at the wiring. There are three plugs by the hicas which the wires went to the auto box. Do I need these now or are they redundant?
  15. It was a good day and event, I would upload some videos if I knew how!! Shame there were only 4 Z's and 5 members in attendance :(
