  1. Just booked the car in for the custom exhaust to be finished, without ramps it is to much of a ballache to fabricate myself! This is the last job before sending the car for MOT. Booked in for the 12th June so might be one the road next month
  2. I'm afraid the twin valves on a single turbo car was me!!! But it is on the 300 so a V6 not like a normal straight 4 or 6 engine. There are two distinct inlet tracts to the throttle bodies so have one on each and as it's one turbo I want to do as much as possible to reduce compressor stall.
  3. In the box I have a Conzult disc, small disk called driver + user guide (transfer series) plus two cables and an adaptor Is it that small disc that will solve the problem?
  4. Hi Dan, I will check when I'm home Thursday but it is a copy from you, I can't remember what's in the box altogether.
  5. Ste, If you could let me know that would be great, have 2 laptops in the house both on Vista so don't want to buy an old one just for Conzult if I can help it!
  6. The spoiler is off a Mitsi GTO. Smithy the sensors in the top pipe were like that when I got the car so didn't realise there were different?
  7. Has anyone run Conzult with Vista or is there a fix need to get it to work? The old laptop its on is dead and was running Windows 98, or does work with XP?
  8. Gutted for you bud. Find them and give them a serving of shoe pie!
  9. Well the car moved out of the garage under her own steam for the 1st time in 9 months today so started cleaning her up. The bumper still needs the paint finished so isn't fitted on properly (may change it in the future when funds allow) Booking in for the exhaust, then get it set up and a MOT on them let her lose!!!! Sounds like a drag car at the moment with just a turbo down pipe but was nice to actually drive her, well sort of -15 feet up the driveway, then back again, then up again, then back again, then up again....... :D Still lots of little jobs to do but can drive her for the rest of the summer hopefully.
  10. Bleed them again and rocked the car in gear in case it was stuck. One of them worked as I know have gears!!
  11. No one on here, it's been there for a few years, pass it reguarly.
  12. Good luck with the project, hope you've a time budget of an extra day for all the 'little' jobs that crop up! Will be greay when it's done.
  13. I have bleed the clutch on the cylinder by the gearbox and the one in the engine bay but still can't get the car in gear. Do I need to keep bleeding the system as air might be working it's way up the system? I had no clutch booster cylinder when the manual conversion was done, just the resevoir and cylinder on the gear box and bleed pipe in the engine bay. Any ideas?
  14. Jimmy, it has 2 smaller rads in the nose behind the intercooler. I am fittning a slimline push/pull fan inbetween them. I'll see how I go with that but I think I have enough room to fit a secong one if needed.
  15. In a small picture it does look a nightmare but in th eflesh it's not so bad. Honest!
  16. Cheers Stella for that, I've got the bit between my teeth now and can't wait to get her on the road. A few more pics to wet the appetite! Tomorrow is finish the MAF intake, bleed the coolant system and clutch, get conzult on to do basic set up, then out of the garage for a wash and maybe some pictures. The only other job is is to joinn the turbo outlet to the exhaust centre section and back boxes.
  17. Good job, I bet it feels great to have the project on the road, I'm hoping mine will be in a month as the electrical issue is fixed!
  18. I am hoping the lag won't be to bad as I have kept the primaries smaller to kept the exhaust gas pressure up which will hopefully keep it spooling nicely. Not sure of other benefits yet but at least if I want more power it is easy to uprade the turbo. To be honest I like the challenge of these conversions as my previous one was a supercharged Mi16 engine which I did, although you think I would of learned by now!
  19. Here you go guys, got the wife to start it but was worried I'd get the fingers caught if she hit the accelerator!!! Will get a proper video tomorrow with the MAF and boost hoses on properly and some gaskets. http://i676.photobucket.com/albums/vv128/Anthonydx/th_MOV01408.jpg' alt='th_MOV01408.jpg'>
  20. So do you all think it started???
  21. Some of you might be aware that an electrical problem has been causing me a few issues for the last 2-3 weeks. Many thanks to Geoff from Zedworld who pointed me in the right direction. Well today I narrowed it down to either the ECU or the switchable earth from the ECU to the coil relay. I found a cowboy job in the engine bay loom where someone had cut the wire and soldered in two other and they were both cut!!!! So 30 seconds of solder and a day finishing the coolant system and oil cooler she was ready for the big moment, the freshly built engine with the single turbo was ready for a test start :bow: Although the turbo has no down pipe of gasket on it I had to turn the key to see what happens
  22. Playing COD world at war at the moment but think it has a glitch! At the end of the section in the metro underground there is a blockade with Germans behind, your suppose to survive the fire fight and a wave comes and washes it away but no wave :headvswal Any ideas?
