  15. these are great cars my mate has had 2 (1xsi & 1xgti) he still has the gti..(minter) only a few thing to look for on these as the engines are bullet proof! .front crossmember under rad (RUST) .drive shafts .can eat front tyres if not set up correct! some early one suffered with short life gear boxes.. but for £1000 quid you cant go wrong. my mate paid £1800 quid no rust but just had a new clutch fitted & 2 sets of front tyres in 8 months..
  16. i would deff try & buy a used one in good nick! as getting a trimmer to do it will cost quite alot as they have to hand stich the whole way around the wheel!!!
  17. reset the codes first! then icheck again...f it comes back look further into it! could save you alot of time,

  20. solid ace stat fitted when we rebuilt engine after replacing head & gasket etc & has been running at 78 no problem!
  21. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- just want to know if we are going mad or what! the manuals & various searches have told me that the timming should read 15btdc ..... when we rebuilt my engine i set the timming up & when running we could not get it below 27btdc..on conzult & 35ish on gun..so me & Dan have redone the cam belt & while we were doing so john popped over in his 300zx tt so we checked his tmming & his read about the same 25 on conzlt 35 on gun is there something we are missing or is his zed timming out too? all readings were taken on a warm engine in Netural al fans off etc.. will be checking mine now its been done again on friday night once the rad is filled up & intake hoses back on! __________________ WAX MY RIDE

  24. a good mate of mine had a primera in the mystic green (stunning) & scratched the paint work, he claimed off his insurance to repaire it, they did so but told him if he was to scratch it again it would be a write off!! as the paint is sooo expensive! the original nissan paint has real gold flake in it!
