i too just rebuilt my engine! & the old sensor was defunked! so decided to just carry on & do a bypass but since reading up on how important this dett/knock sensor is i have ordered a new one & fitting it in its correct place. when we rebuilt engine we also done a egr valve & plenum bypass so this makes it much easier & quicker to take the plenum & inlet manifold off to get to it.!!.. if i was you, i would do this too:nono:

it looks like to me & i'm no expert ! but the wheel has come loose then gone up under the fiber glass wing, ripped that open probably jammed up between the wing & front of door(as there seems to be black curved marks..eg tire) then bounced & hit rear quater..(black marks again) try thinners on the marks if they go with ease you will probaly find it rubber marks!!! but a real bummer nether the less!! will your insurance cover the damage?

i know its a bummer but they did this on the a303 monday & over gritted it causing a 5 car pile up as the over gritting acted like marballs!!!!! sorry to here about your accident tho the main thing is that you're ok!

its an auto & was in Netral when checked & warmed up >70 think i'm one tooth out on the bottom pully :( belt off again!!!!!!

i think what they mean is that an exchange engine is only as good as its previous owners servicing & maintanence work! & the honesty of who u buy the engine from, owners engines may still go wrong but less likely if well serviced & maintained, also the old saying (better the devil you know) goes along way in this dillema you're in! as dannzx said we have just rebuilt my engine & it was scary:eek: at first but now we wouldnt think twice about it! exchange engine could blow a head gasket as soon as u drive it up the road just like yours has! so rebuild & be safe! imho. good luck

to be honest in a couple of years i would hope a new xbox would be out:hyper: & again send ps3 back under the bed.....as it was far too late!!

my mate had his elite for 6 months then got the ring of shite! ms will only need the xbox console no hdd or leads etc & will give u 3years extended warrenty & 1months free xbox gold membership! my dad bought a second hand xbox from ebay & the ring of shite came up within a week & ms sorted it out no questions plus 3 year warrenty etc. it is a pain but the after sales service is spot on!!!! love the xbox! gears of war 1&2 are my favourite games ever!!!!
