hi & welcome, i like the kit on your car ....but can you tell me are the wings smoothed into the front bumper or not ? as in some pics they are & some they are not!!!...im guessing some old pics & some new...maybe. nice looking zed smoothed or not

ive got a set from dannzx that i mannaged to get apart(heat gun & sore hands ) lots o sealent everywhere....just got to swap the diffuser now them put back together ...dont think it going to be easy tho! i wouldnt use you only set of lights to do this too,,eg get a spare set to take apart as it could all go tits up!!

well i have just thought about this & my initial is W. mum's is S. & dad's is A so that makes : WAS....which is not much but my name is Westley Aaron Slight & my full initials also spell WAS!!!!!!..how weird..

you need the glue that car upholsterers use comes in a paint tin, spread evenly on both surfaces using a spatula (old tesco points card) for best results do it twice as the first coat gets slightly absorbed, also the glue should have quite a high temp resistance as it can get bloody hot in the zed left out in the sun!!! dont want it all lifting! my mate is a car trimmer i will ask him the name of the glue he uses, he's doing my interior in the next week or so, i'm using leatherette/vynal too..

if you're doing any mitre joints you will need to hire a jig!!! they rent them at your local tool hire shop or £100 to buy, you should not need more than one blade, dont try & cut through in 1 go do a couple or 3 passes this will save your blade from burning out too!

have you tried painting a whole car in chrome??? i know its been done but i think the zed would look great in chrome! or black chrome,.... but as for small parts, inserts, cam covers etc i think i would be interested if you start doing then for the club!

lol me too i seen it in redruth on sat night!! was ok but not enough cars for my liking lots of sexy ass tho ;-)...didyou spot the 4x4 with the tv's in the headlamps??? that got my brain going over time as i have four 7" monitors lying around waiting to fit in the zed....hmmm..

I bought the car as a non runner (head gasket) engine has been done & back in the car & drives ok apart from what i have mentioned at the top of this thread! the loom isnt the best ...as for starting to do this we have only just tested it as we are getting close to getting it on the road full time, we checked it out because the car is stalling in drive & reverse with foot on brake!

think your gonna have to take pic's of the spare connectors so peeps can help?

ok me & dannzx was running some tests on my zed this weekend as its not running perfect, we found that the wiring to the left o2 sensor is faulty!!! also when i pull the yellow connector on the idle controll valve nothing happens(think revs should drop/raise). & when testing the auo box with the conzult it only registers when put in Drive(D) none of the other gears ??? the car will stall when put on full lock & in drive or reverses???? help please!!!!!!

there is another advantage to a plenum bypass & hat is your intake plenum will be cooler so your air into the throttle bodies going through the plenum should stay cooler!!! cold air in the intake is better than warm air!!!

yeah not good for a colour match!! the tried to match my pearl white(not original) & it was miles out....hence now going for full respray! :headvswal

try the "faulty" injector connector on a working injector eg swap it with another one close by!if this injecto still works then you know your getting a signal! & it is the dodgy injector.....please corect me if i'm wrong?

ps..about a 1/4 ltr should do it with thinners
