this click i'm talking about comes from the fast idle control valve! ?

not using A/C just window demister on the front!

no problems as far as i know!! done mine ok its an auto but shouldnt be any different

a question for you hoping you all might run outside & check! on a TT auto while engine is running & you press the wind screen demist button can you hear a click from the idle valve? if your listening as a referance point the click comes from just infront of passenger wiper blade???? your time & replies will be greatly appricated thanks

is yor car a manual or auto?? i got these decat pipe on my auto & they dont fit around the auto box :-(

whoops my bad lol just noticed the NA now lol...as for air con the belt runs of the pullys so this will put a small amount of resistance leading to small loss of bhp plus getting rid of the AC rad give better airflow to the radiator aiding in more cooling more cold air better all round!:)

hi mark, i done the same to my car when i got it the head gasket was gone so took engine out & fixed it but while it was out we done a EGR system bypass this frees up a few bhp, also a plenum water bypass this helps the inlet manifold(plenum) run cooler which helps with power & working on the car in the future as it gets rid of lots of silly pipe work! there is a how too on here somewhere for both of these!! & these cost next to nothing just need some hose!, u can do a aiv bypass too,get rid of the aircon & all that goes with it(lose weight & gain some bhp) you could fit boost jets too but read up on these as some peeps are against them..they give more boost pressure!. hope this helps...:D

ok we have a running issue that now its getting closer to getting on the road for good has become a pririty problem: me & dan have tried erything we can think of but running low on ideas now, here's the problem: the car starts & idles fine until your do any of the following: put in D or R with foot on brake! put stearing on full lock! put heaters on! if you do any of the above the revs drop too low & 90% of the time it will stall? have cleaned idle valve, have tested idle valve on cozult & it will cut in & raise the revs!! but not when we do any of the previosly mentioned things? help!!! please ...we are so close now!

think thats an automatic only connection.. as it lets you start the car etc but dont need it on a manual...

maybe the tax ran out & had to move it???
