are the new wheels alot lower profile & wider? if so i think its just the characteristics as i found thi on my old pulser going from 15" to 17" wit 40 profile tyres it followed every groove & camber in the road!! just a thought..

sounds like its flooded after trying so much, pull the fuel pump fuse (under bonnet infront of drivers side dash) its green i think? then turn engin over with a count of about 10 seconds.. this will deflood the engine now try putting the fuse back & give it a go? mine wouldnt start for love or money when it was flooded..even if left for days!! might be worth drying the plugs too?

why wouldnt the deliver it to your house?? when i got alloys from the states they took 4 days to get to heathrow from the day of ordering then took another 4 days to get through customs to my home address, but yes u will get a phone call from them to pay the duty, may i ask do you know if the seller put an invoice in with the items? did he break it down or give a grand totall as you only pay customs on the goods not the freight so its always a good idea to get the seller to doctor the invoice with the parcel/crate so it shows high postage but low cost for items if u get me?

some do some dont as the reclining lever/wheel can foul on the center consol in some cars ...just a case of checing it out but ifu want you can take the foam seat base off & swap that ?

a conzult would help lots! where did you clamp the strobe too? the loop wire on the ptu can sometimes give bad readings from what ive heard try getting a plug lead type, it goes in one of the coilpacks & u get a reading off that, should read 25 i think with car in neutral, as u said u get a det code its what is making me think timming! as it firing to early by the sounds of it which would explain the popping! but so could other things but its one more avenue to eliminate! check all the injector plugs are making a good connection too, mine would work lose etc then be ok for a min then lose again, another thing could be a coil pack breaking down under load! have u tried replacing these? does your car stall when u disconnect the maf while its running?

have u checked the timming???
