Unless your good with th sewing machine I would get a car trimmer to sort it ... I'm having mine all recovered in alcantara .. Mine are blue velour & in good condition so after they're re covered I will be putting the old velour up for grabs on here, as all the individual panels will be I deal for the likes of your self if u required blue velour of course to use as a repair!

Slick top opposed to a twin top was classed as lower spec & were cheaper to buy new iirc

welcome mate ..uk spec hence the rust but catch it early & youll be fine ;-) sloppy back end could just be the hicas as it can make it feel like that!! most peeps have it removed or locked out !

If plenty of oil it getting up there I would say the pump is working ... The shaking is more of a problem tho! I'm sure someone with more mechanical expertise will be along here soon to help... But this happened to a mare of mine & it was a valve that had a chunk taken out of it!!

Take cap of with engine running is any oil getting up there?

Engine out is easiest way! Plus u can have a good look over everything hoses etc, also do a plenum & egr bypass...new cam belt new water pump while your at it if u haven't done them already?

lol the car is pearl white but not the original pearl white its more champaigny but nobody knows what colour it is hence it needs a respray! although the colour is stunning in the flesh!

sad news mate they're part of the family & breaks your heart when they pass away.. im gutted for u.. as already said ..all we can do is to remember we gave them a happy loving life while they were here. RIP Cassie .
