Firstly id like to say hi to everybody!
I finally bit the bullet and brought a 300zx, this is my first jap car and certainly away from my normal cars (air cooled beetles). Friday i purchased a 1990 300zx TT tagra uk-spec manual with just over 100k on the clock. This is by no means a perfect car current problems include:-
-Buckled alloy- ordered zedworld
-Warped discs- Full disc n pad change on order
-o/s/r shock leaking- will replace both rear/ or fit coilovers
-possibly rear bushes worn as car has a very sloppy rear end.
-Warning lamp for Hicas currently displaying not really to sure about this my undrstanding is this is to do with the 4wheel steer system ?!
-n/s sill small amount of rot and rear arches may need some attention.
Once this is done may look to fit leather interior and l.e.d dash conversion. Despite the car handling unpredicable at present i enjoy the power delivery and the grumble of the v6 takes some beating i hope to learn a lot about these cars and take on as much work myself as possible!
