  2. Hi guy's Just to let you all know I have just started useing a new paint system from the States. It means I can now apply a full chrome finish to any surface, even plastic. So I was thinking what I could use it on first. After seeing some of the attempt on chroming the front lights I thought I would have a go. As it happened I had a spare pair of lights, so this is how it went. After opening up the lights and stripping out the insert. A light rub over and then the base coat was layed on. Then the chrome efect A couple of layers of lacker and a polish and... Its a little hard to see the reflection through the glass but I think you can get the idea. I left the ring around the lams as a bit of contrast and I quite like it. What do you think.. Chris.

  7. You can get a yellow top Optima. This will do the job, only its not as tall as your stock one. As for cost, expect to pay around £220 - £250 but remember it will still go flat if you leave it to long.. Chris..

  9. I'm afraid most of the South East croud are a lazy bunch of s**ts and need a reminder every time something comes up. The only way it will realy happen is if we all pull togeather. Not just on here. We all know one or two Zed'rs who live close by. So phone them, go see them, PM them, just get them all out this week, First Sunday! If there cars aint going then help them fix them, if they cant be fixed just give them a lift. Go on just for once lets make the next meet a good one, and even I will come.... Chris..

  13. I have a huge hesitation from a standing start and dont know where to start looking. The car is a jap auto but I know it's not the box. I have cleaned the carbs but other than that I just dont know where to look or what I can start changing. I have lived with this since I got the car but now its really starting to get to me. Pleas help... Chris..
  14. Thanks James..some great pics but I dont really know what I'm looking for.. Any one had the heater out and can tell me where the valve is and can I see it from the under side of the dash?
  15. I have a problem with the heater. It wont og to hot. I have been told there is a solanoid and a cable that goes to a flap on the matrix somewhere but I cant see it from underneath. Any one got a picture of the dash out so I can find out where it is. Thanks. Chris..

  18. Why is it that this is not picked up on the MOT's MOT book said that the letters must be all the same size and thickness and thats it. nothing about size...So a small plate passes an MOT but is not legal Hmmmm.. Chris..

  20. Just a quick one but I have lost the heat from my heater... There are no leaks and every thing else is working ok. The flow going in is hot but the out is cold.. Could it be the thing is blocked or is there some kind of electronic valve or stat that is not opening??? Any one ........ Chris..
  21. Cant find the keys for the doors, just been useing the remote fob and the ignition is on a different key. Well in the dogs do do.. Saw a post that saig you could feed power back through the front indicator but I think not unless the switch is on the -side the power cant get back to the batery
  22. Batary's flat now I cant get into the car. Just spent two hours trying to get in the thing and no luck. About to go at it with a hammer cos its wound me up so much. Any one got any ideas before I do something I will regrett
