  1. Woke up this morning to find the Z in a real bad mess. Looks like some kids go in, smashed the drivers window after the sterio. Smashed the dashboard to bits and ripped out half the boot build. What bits they could'nt get out they just smashed. I'v been driving for thirty years now had three cars done and one stolen twice. Dont you all think I'v had my share. Not looking for sympathy, but will be looking for some parts! Chris
  2. Good point Jock.. I've got the headers, underdrive pully and some air pipes bu not the new PCV's. When I get the new PCV', is there any thing else I should get at the same tome? Chris..
  3. Thanks a lot Jock, Will do. I'll leave it a couple of weeks into the new year and see what the weather is like. I need to do the exhaust and the headers. But what one first? Do I get the exhaust made first, then fit the headers? or headers first, then the exhaust? Does it make any difference? Chris..
  4. Hi all, It's me Chrissyp and I'm back! Just got back from our trip to Kenya and It's Kin cold! But hey its the good old UK. and the old ZX looks really welcoming. Must fire her up and see if she's OK. Lots of work to do on her in the new year, so Jock if you have the odd Saturday to spare I would realy appreciate a hand with some of the bit's... Chris..
  5. I'v seen the Z in Banzai, Its on Australian plates. They always claim huge BHP figures down there, must be something to do with having to drive inverted all the time.. Chris..
  6. Hi Mate. See you'r from the Enfield area. I've see several other ZX's around the area. How about a small get togeather for a beer and a chin-wag. Anyone in the area welcome.... Chris..
  7. 6.5"s will go in with minimal work. Always go for a two way setup or even a component set. The component set will need some moddification, because it is two speakers. One 6.5" and the other around 1" but you have enough room behind the grill to fit them both. Some people would prefer the tweeter, or the smaller speaker to be higher up the door, but you would need to cut the panel for this. The rears are as was said before 6"x4". These are the babby brother of the 6"x9" you see every where, but they produce verry little base. If it's moor power you want then there are a number of moor powerfull speakers, 150w or moor you can go for. If it is base you are looking for, you will be looking at bigger speakers and that means cutting the car about, or the addition of a sub speaker in the boot. Chris..
  8. And me and Danni. Ithink that makes 5 of us.. Chris..
  9. Remember seeing this but I think it was on a Ho--a N1CE Z Now that would be nice. Chris..
  10. I go away for three weeks and when I come back it's all changed. Where has everything gone? There are new bits all over the place. Now I have to find my way around all over again. What's happend to the meetings section? It's all gone mad!! Oh my pore old brain.... Chris..
  11. So Rob, Where in Herts are you from? and is the car on the road or not? Chris..
  12. Could have been me. I use the tunnel in the morning around 7.45am going north and south around 4.30pm.
  13. good one James!! Thats just what it looks like. Anyone else had the same sign? Chris..
  14. Got a strange warning light on the dash, left hand side I was running at a steady 85-90 when it came on. Just a flicker at first, then full on. Looked like something overheating, so I turned off the AC and slowed to around 65. The light went out. Got home to look in the hand book, but nothing. Does anyone know what warning lights are on the left hand side on the Jap cars? It's sort of a box with open ends and three or four wavey lines above. Like something is hot.. Any idears? Chris..
  15. thats funny... did you know that the Diablo uses the 300zx front light units and they still have Nissan printed on them... Chris..
