  1. Stue mate, how the devil are you? feeling better I hope.. Nice to see you back.. Know what you mean about the enthusiasm, mine died for a bit. Took some ba--a-d to smash their way into the car to knock me back into gear. Still back on track now, with some new things in the pipeline... I must drop by some time, but I'll call first so you can get the kettle on. Neve seen you make tea.. Chris..
  2. I've seen this one around to... There are five or six around the area, but I dont think any of them are on here. Maybe we should have some fliers to put on cars we see. If they dont know about us they aint on here.... Chrissyp..
  3. Anyone know where is the best place to get new body trims. The ones that go from the front window up over the roof and down the back window. Do they come in sets or seperate pieces. Also has anyone changed these them selves. Chrissyp
  4. Just payed up via paypal It's been some time since i was payed up so I have payed as a new member £20.00 If you need my details, let me know and I will forward them on. Thanks. Chrissyp
  5. Nice one Ant mate. Glad to be of some help. Hows the view in the mirror? Chris..
  6. The nut that has been spoken about here is in the door piller and holds a plastic guide wheel, there is also one at the front of the window just above the inside door handle. The other points to check are the fixing bolts at the botom edge of the glass. This means removing the door card, you can get to the bolts by mooving the window down a little so you can see the bolts. While the door card is off. You should also look at the large metal stopper that is bolted to the glass close to the back end of the window, It could be that it is this that is making the noise and not the window at all.. Chris..
  7. On the early Jap cars you have to remove the seat belt top fixing to get the interior capping off of the door post. Other wise it is the same.. Chris..
  8. Got mine from Mike at MJP, It's a solder on job but easy to do, did it my self. It's been on the car for two years and is spot on with the sat-nav. Thin it was about £60. Well worth it just to get rid of the bonging. Chris..
  9. If it's the same part through to 96, then why has no one over here ever seen anything like it. All the brakers I have spoken to say, aint seen anything like that before.. I was beginning to think I had something special. Will have to see what happens but I will not be around to see the bidding out, so dont know what to do. Dont want to go to high cos the postage will be pritty high to. Must weigh a bit???? Chris..
  10. You are right Pete, thats what it must be. I remember that you cant get the key out. if the car is not in P. and the second one is to pull the seat belts back into the door when the key is removed.. Thanks again, Chris..
  11. Thats the one! you can see the two sets of wires coming out of the side of the barel, both with plastic conectors on the end of them, that is defo it... Ok so did this only come on the 90 auto's? If so thats what I should be looking for... Thanks Dave at last I'm getting some where.. This guy wont post to the UK, so it's start again. At least I know what I'm looking for now.. Thanks again, Chris..
  12. I think it's time I had a ride down to see you Jock. What do you say? I got all the bits but no chip. Think we should have a little talk, you and me.. Chris..
  13. Just looks like it's sposed to be there. All the wires go into the loom on conectors. At the moment it's got me beat.. Maybe if I cross the two wires at the conectors, something might start to work again. What do you think? Chris..
  14. Mike, Its not the five pin bit thats confuseing everyone, its the two other conections on the sides. No one else seems to have them at all. Chris..
  15. Just till the weather gets a little better matey.. Chris..

  18. I got lots of bits laying around the bed room. Intake, Hard pipes, Headers, Underdrive pully, Looking at exhaust all the way through with decat pipes. But totaly stuck on where to go for the chip.. Any ideas. I would really like to get it up to around 280hp. close to a stock TT Anyone think of anything I missed? Chris..
  19. This cant be the only switch like this in the country??? Come on guys , have a look and tell me what you got. I just dont know where to go next. Chris..
  20. Still looking for an Ignition switch to match the one I have.. The car was broken into and the little sods thought they could start it but all they managed to do was smash the ignition switch. The one I have is Jap, Auto and comes with a number of electrical conections I have the main 5pin spade conector on the back, but also I have two wires coming from a black plastic cover plate half way down the barrel. There is also what look's like another conection on the back end of the key release button but this part is badly damaged. Can anyone please tell me what these wires are and what they do? If I have to fit a regular ignition switch, what will I be loosing? I think that one of them may be the seatbelt tensioner but I dont know what one it would be. I have tried many places but can't find anything like it. Please help...Chris
  21. And it comes in about 30 colours!!!! http://www.autoaccessorystore.com/installed_view.asp?img=http://www.autoaccessorystore.com/installed/300zx_ch_b.jpg&desc=Nissan%20300ZX%20%20(90-96)%20/%20Chrome%20style Chris..
  22. After having the car broken into, smashed the ignition switch, radio panel, boot install and some trim parts....Anyway I found a spare switch, trouble is it has no wires comming out of it. Still I fitted it temporery and it works, but I cant get the shifter into park, even if I use the small overide switch on the shifter. Is this down to the wrong ignition switch or have the sods damaged moor than it looks. Car starts in N and runs just as it should 1,2,D,N and R all OK but no P. Any one help.. Chris..
  23. Hi Jock But did you have the wires from the switch? If so where do they go to as my'ne has been smashed. If the spare swith I have has no wires then I guess it wont let me put the car into park. I am useing the car with the new switch but cant get the stick into park even if I lift the swith on the stick to over-ride it.. Not having much luck with this at the moment. Thanks Chris..
  24. Anyone know if the ignition switches are different man.-auto. My car is jap auto and the switch has wires fixed to it. Found a replacement but it has no wires at all. I think the wires are for the park locking mechanism but dont know. Thanks Chris..
  25. Thanks guyes Just to let you know, I got a door glass from Andy Z and some dash parts so the car's looking a little better. Still looking for an ignition barrell, the small screw cover pieces from the radio surround and the light ring from around the key hole. So if you have any bits laying around the garage,.... Thanks again Chris
