  1. Higher? I shall try that, I don't believe they do, but prolonged use will kill cats, exhaust baffles and turbos.
  2. Top man thanks very much, by the way, as soon as mine hits the limiter and am back on the power the car momentarily miss fires, thinking the plugs are flooded!? Do I need to adjust my gain or will this make no difference? Thanks, Dan
  3. Does anyone have a diagram to show pin outs on a 92 UK tt? Or, know which pins the bee r goes in to? Thanks, Dan
  4. What is the part number for the part i need for the ecu? Any advantages to hooking it up to the handbrake over the clutch if you can still use it to launch with both?? Many thanks Dan
  5. Thanks, what about installing them? I have heard the instructions come in Japanese and vary from car to car?
  6. I guess I do if I get one yes, I don't believe I will be hooning it round sideways everywhere making it do it though, just a show piece until the novelty wears off. Reading up on them I believe the higher the gain the louder it is and therefore harsher on the turbos...!?
  7. Anyone here have any experience with them on a Z? Problems? Advantages? Is it a case of fine if used in moderation, pretty much like winding the boost up? Many thanks, Dan
  8. J300 UFO is mine :) Cant believe I missed this thread, shows I should visit the thread more often. This was the fourth year my Z has attended Trentham, its always a good show. I will definatly attend with you guys next year if you dont mind :) Who is going Shugborough btw?? Dan
  9. So, I have just popped the bonnet and the squeak went! Omg, why oh why didn't I ask the question before now. A picture to show how I rectify the squeak would be great. Thanks for your help guys well chuffed now. I am mystified as to how someone found out the noise was the catch in the first place...
  10. Thanks,I will try this later, if it stops when the bonnets pulled whats the cause? How did you fix your squeeking Phutumsch?
  11. I have this really annoying squeek in my car, I know this is a long shot asking here, but, I have had it about 2 years now and was convinced it was behind my dials somewhere, I have stripped it all and put back together and its still squeeking. Best heard coasting in neutral as the car goes over bumps. I am thinking now it may be the A pillar!? Its really bugging me now especially as I was convinced it was fixable by stripping the cluster area, and reinstalling everything tight together. It sounds like a bird is in my car, anyone else had this before? Thanks, Dan
  12. lol brilliant, cheers lads
  13. My girlfriend complains that the tv gets interference when my car is driving up the street. What causes this? I also get a whistling through my speakers in tune to the engine revs. Is this a power cable too close to an RCA? None resistored spark plugs? It's annoying me now. Thanks, Dan
  14. Lol thought someone had nicked my car when I was coming up over the hill and saw you. Looks fat from behind sounds nice too. (Let you out at about 12 midday today green transit van)
  15. Thanks lads, least am not the only one, just annoying it it hasn't done it ever before but is now.
  16. I have an automatic car, when travelling very slow and I apply the brakes to stop the front freak and groan, then they do the same as soon as they are released. They have only started doing this a week or so ago, pads are approx 5000 miles old and discs about 20,000 miles old. Am I hearing the pads moving around? Or would moving pads make a rattling noise? Thanks
  17. In that case, TFR, or there's a company called autobrite and they do a cleaner called Jaffa, I used it. Got the car up to temp left it running sprayed a good half a litre all over the engine, let it soak for ten minutes or so then pressure washed it all. Worked brilliant. Or like I said TFR would also do the same job it's just I know the Jaffa leaves a nice mart Finnish to all the black hoses - - - Updated - - - Matt not mart
  18. I keep threatening take mine off and get it machine polished. Don't know how it would last though with the heat... Worth getting a quote local to you though you will find its not that dear
  19. I heard austec racing Crawley know their stuff, only going off what I have read on the chrysler forum though.
  20. Cheers, I will check my boot later as I have just reinstalled my interior after having it out over the winter for welding work. I am currently waiting on three maindealers to get back to me with part numbers for the correct oil.
  21. I am getting a whining noise in 2nd and 4th, you have to listen carefully to hear it at the moment, 2nd is louder than 4th. How many miles does a gearbox usually last after a whining noise is first heard?
  22. Is this semi synthetic ok for gearbox and diff oil, I have been advised so. Thanks, Dan
  23. Vheers guys, I will look for a worn tension arm/rod and look for leaking silicone
