Can anyone advise where I will get an el light panel to match oem rear light panels? Its like a greeny turquoisey colour. I want to put together illuminated rear quarter sunshades but need to match my illuminated rear panel. Cheers

They look good, did you lacquer them also? when you did yours did you replace your seals also?

Thanks, what about paint? I want a nice finish so would like to spray and lacquer them, they were fine with the brushed on hammerite but will the heat damage regular paint? What do I need to be coating them with? thanks

Also, I got 130 on the problem cylinder when it compression tested. Is this pressure good for stock power only, I was possibly thinking of a stand alone ecu and larger injectors, but with this figure I am guessing this will have to wait until another year when funds allow...

Got the injector out and there was no resistance across the two pins.

I don't think it will be that, different symptoms, mine went from running perfect to a dead cylinder over night, I will post up what I find this evening, thanks for all your help.

Thanks guys, going to investigate further later on this evening. I have just had my strethecope on all 6 injectors, all have a very pronounced clicking apart from the problem cylinder, there is a clicking but it is a lot fainter than the other five...

Hmmm, no I haven't, I have just got code 55 from the ecu so that was no help lol. I know which cylinder is down - middle one on passenger side, I swapped the coils over from the one in front of it and the mis fire stayed on that cylinder...

After thinking I had a plug go down I changed all six tonight only to find my misfire is still there. I swapped two coil packs to rule that out and I checked there was actually a spark, and there is. What next? Compression test? Rather than a mechanical failure I'm hoping its a failed injector, is there anything else I can check? Would the ecu show any codes for a bad injector? Thanks

I know I want 18". Most probably will be rota GTR's. My car is is lowered 30mm, what is the absolute widest the rears can be without catching, I don't mind having a bit of stretch on the tyres either. Also, as for the fronts, what is a sensible width? 8j? What offset should the front have? Thanks, Dan

Another job this winter will be to overhaul all four calipers. These have been painted in the past with hammerite, what is the best way to remove all this paint? Should they be soaked in something? Or is this a waste of time and just go about removing the paint with some sort of orbital sanding tool?? Secondly, where is the best place to get my new seals from in terms of quality and cost?
