  12. Only ever used waxoyl myself and have had no probs. messy job but well worth it.make sure all trim is removed, the mist will stick to anything.you can thin the stuff down but with 50 psi you wont have to. Use the clear for inside and the black for under the heavy impact areas.

  16. Thanks for that Jeff would prefere to use a genuine filter but what can you do when your hands are tied !
  17. I fitted a genuine Nissan oil filter last year and the seal folded in on itself, and when I cranked it over it spat a load of oil out ! I fitted a patern Japenese made filter and it was fine.I noticed that with the patern filter it had a raised edge around the outside of the seal to stop it from spreading outwards when you tighten it (by hand only) where as the Nissan one did not.My Z has a sandwich plate (if thats what you call it) fitted for some extra gauges (oil pressure & oil temp) dont know it the mateing surface does not suit a genuine filter ? I used to work in the motor trade a long time ago and as a result am a stickler for genuine parts has anyone else had this problem with Nissan oil filters ?
  18. Ididnt know they were supposed to light up ! doh ! thats this saturday afternoon planned out then. LOL
