Like what has already been said, it would be a bit of a big job to do that conversion. Would be alot easier finding an auto TT and converting it, or just wait for a TT manual!

I dont know about removing the loom, i never thought about it before.

If your car's a 1989 - 1993, they'll be fine. Might be worth speaking to Mr F from MJP and see how much he sells them for.

Since the HICAS loom is gonna be disconnected from the ECU, it wont matter about having the electrical connectors disconnected.

My understanding is that A - goes to the steering rack B - inlet from the PAS Pot C - outlet port to the hicas

1) The Chamber you want to block off is the one furthest away from the pulley. 2) IIRC, you need a 24mm spanner and some way of holding the pump. 3) Im in the middle of looking into this. The thread on the banjo bolt is m18 x 1.5mm pitch (18mm Metric Fine). I've found a die so im going to make up something to replace the banjo bolt. You'll need to remove the rotating element and knifes from the HICAS side aswell. If you dont and block off the pipe, the pump will pressure lock.

Was that £85 per side or £85 for both sets?
