  1. Not being funny but that's one hell of a long way round avoiding buying an N/A clutch and flywheel!
  2. Im sure i've got one of those AB Flug Bumpers lying about in my garage somewhere..........Dont like it tbh.
  3. You could but why would you need to fabricate a "balance" tube? A MAP sensor runs on the air inlet pressure so tapping into one of the vacuum pipes at the balance bar would suffice.
  4. I'm going to be running a MAP sensor (hopefully) once i get some more engine work done later this year (october time). To replace my Maf, i've got an alunox pipe that removes the t-piece after the MAF and gives a seperate feed into each back. I'll need to remember to find another apexi intake!
  5. Yeah, thats the fellow. You'll need to get something done to the EMS so that it reads the MAP sensor (im a bit unsure about that bit) but i know once you get that fitted, the air flow meter isn't needed.
  6. If i were you mate, and since youve got an AEM EMS, i'd be looking to run a MAP sensor and get rid of the MAF all-together. Then you can fit whatever you want, without having to worry about dummy maf's etc.
  7. Welcome Back Simon.
  8. These were posted up in another thread the other day...
  9. I agree with richard, you picked the best colour ;) Looks like you grabbed yourself a bargain, if everything turns out ok.
  10. Still not heard anything from her yet but i'll get onto it tomorrow.
  11. Nice one mate. I'll update the list.
  12. Happy Birthday Dan
  13. do you think they'd put a "kit" together for a gearbox overhaul?
  14. Could be a dodgy way of bypassing a potentially faulty knock sensor.
  15. i was thinking about it but it's the week after the Modified Live
  16. If your gonna do a colour change, are you gonna be pulling the engine? There's nothing worse than seeing a car with a cracking paint job on the outside then once the bonnet's popped, you see a completely different colour.
  17. I got both my TT rear bearings from Mr F. If i remember correctly, i dont think i paid much more than £250 for both. They aint hard to change either. Just pop the driveshaft out, undo the 4 M12 bolts and the bearing and carrier will some out (might need some persuasion though)
  18. Alan, Im still waiting to hear about the ticket prices and a booking form. Once i've received them, i'll email you the details.
  19. ^^^^ What he said ^^^^
  20. I had the Porterfield RS-4's on my last zed. They were the dog's dangly bits! Never had any bother with them, but then again, i hardly drove it in the wet so i cant comment on that.
  21. Im thinking the exact same matey. Never got much use out of her last year so im determined to get out to a few shows and get her out and about a bit more this year.
  22. Yeah, we're still gonna have meets for the guys who aint interested in going to shows. Robert is still keen to organise a run up north during the summer.
  23. welcome back neil. Not much changed, some new faces joined, some members left.........just the usual.
  24. i think you might struggle to send a battery due to it containing acid.
