  5. yeah, till someone halfhinches his stella  :duffer:
  6. now thats the sort of one, if you had that sort of money spare, would be to buy and dry store it for 10yrs or so. i doubt you would ever loose on that. very very nice clean original example.
  7. youve been watching enter the dragon too many times mate. PMSL. it didnt do him much good in the end though.
  8. it would be a different story if it was the hemi engined one though. not sure which one you have seen but it must have been the 2.7L or 3.5L v6 one to be under 200bhp. here are the specs of the hemis. they are a big heavy lump though tbh. standard specs: bhp @ rpm 340 @ 5000 torque @ rpm 390 @ 4000 0-60 mph, sec 5.8 and the new srt8 is over 400bhp.
  9. what about the remote wire ? was that ok or not.
  10. whats they need is for anyone with that type of car to recognise them, everytime they are seen, get out and give them a good pasting. they will soon get fed up of the hospital food.
  11. i personally never send anything out of the uk unless i know them, or know someone else thats dealt with them before as it can cause major problems. as joelyp says, do you have a postage reciept ? if so, let the buyer take it up with paypal. you will be asked for a faxed copy of the reciept anyway. make them sweat for it.
  12. its surprising how many businesses are buying classics for tax and insurance reasons.
  13. yes. the blue remote wire is a switched 12v. if you want to bypass it then connect it to the red wire, not the yellow, as thats normally the memory wire which is perminantly live. the red is the switched ignition wire.
  14. as darksidett says. i personally would rather spend the extra money knowing its from the uk, at least if its faulty or whatever, you know its not got to shipped back off abroad.
  15. sharpy. check out the link below. details are there. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=98367

im just hoping it dont go to any of the islands. my daughter is in corfu for 2 weeks. she didnt mention anything about it when she rang earlier, but fires can spread rapidly.
  21. simple answer is, no. your only allowed them on old cars which had alloy plates, and most of those were black with silver letters/numbers, or black with white letters/numbers. by the looks of it they were used from 1931-1971, approx.
  22. i will tell her when i get home :D
  23. i hope youve got a 4gig card in the camera  some pics would be interesting :hyper:
  24. hi rob. yes, it was a great day out yesterday and a BIG thank you for supplying the tickets  . it seemed rather cool with that breeze but that sun must have got through it as my shoulders were stinging a little on the way home. thanks again.
