thanks for the comments guys. ian. yes i did mate but a no go unfortunately. i suppose the only consolation i do have, is that the claim thats going through is for similar damage to exactly the same place on the car, plus a bit of a clue to what im having done, its going to be covered up anyway ;). the fact that someone run into does not bother me, its the fact of owning up to your mistakes that pi$$es me off. my wife reversed into a neighbours sons car a few years ago and caved the back door in. nobody saw it, so we could have quite easily said nothing, but thats not the way i am. i went round and explained what had happened, i got him another door, and had it sprayed, and fitted it which cost me £200, but at least i dont have a guilty concience everytime i see him.

some of you may remember in may i had my car run into. it is being dealt with by my solicitors and the other parties insurance, who are now willing to settle the claim but cant admit liability due to the tw@t who run into me wont admit they did it. my solicitor has now given them 21 days to make an offer of settlement before taking it to court. anyhow, to add insult to injury. today i went to the bank to relieve some of my hard earned pennies into their sticky fingers only to come out to this. the only person who saw what happened was a woman in her 70s, who waited for me to come back to the car. all she could tell me was that it was a white van with a trailer on the back. im well and truly fooked off, it has now put me off driving it around while its like it is. it makes me fookin sick that there are people like this who refuse to admit to something they have done. i will be looking round for a cheap runabout next week, the zed will be coming off the road straight down to a mates bodyshop to have a complete respray, so wont be at anymore meets in the zed untill next year. i was looking forward to just turning up at the scotch corner meet, but thats gone out of the window now. anyway thats my :rant: over with.

looks fine to me, have seen them same as that before. i doubt whether they would fit opposite anyway.

check exhaust to see if its catching anywhere underneath, plus any heat shields as they can rattle if loose. as for the oil guage, like crotchrocket says, its pants. mine reads fine when i first start it when cold, after it warms up slightly it goes down to zero and stays there.

its very very rare you ever see them on a zed over here. people have tended to stick with stock lights, then upgrade with HID kits.

im sure someone would correct me if im wrong, but im not so sure you would run that power on 555 injectors.

your lucky. lol. the little shyte that ran into mine took off and is now being dealt with by the solicitors. insurance estimated £850 damage and could take up to 50 weeks. what makes it worse is the fact that they never stopped, never reported it, yet the police arent going to do fook all about it, to$$ers. at least i know where the culprit lives :D

umm. thats a bummer. could have got everything off it for you before wiping it. things could still be retrieved from it though.

do you know if its I.E 6 or 7 that you are using ?
