thank.... i already have oil cooler installed. i have ordered the ECU chip. do i get BOOST jets or boost controller or both!!! worried about getting decat pipes due what you people have said about seal failure. anyway around the problem or should i not bother with the pipes. cheers.

Chris I had a look at your link....i have a profec turbo timer and boost controller but the bosst controller doesnt work (need someone to look at it) i am thinking of getting a better an more fancy one. right what i need is a STEP BY STEP guide of what to do next......... i have a auto TT and i want to improve its performance, power BHP speed or whatever else you might want to call it....... Currently i have: 1. a big twin exhaust kit 2. HKS mushroom type filter (apparently very good) 3. oil cooler. and thats it. I have £1000 to spend so what can a do to make it more powerful. cheers p.s. dont understand what a stage 1 conversion is but is that what i should be doing if so what does it involve.

Right my engine has screwed up and i am getting another one so i thought i`ll get some mods done before i put i another engine. Basically, i need to get a few things but dont know which or what ones to get so your help is needed. 1. Looking to upgrade turbos. not looking for anything super and expensive. just something to increase performance without blowing another engine? 2. thinking of getting the ECU uprated. Any suggestions on chips etc. 3. Whats the best air filter to get (are the twin cone ones any good?) 4. Need to get a good boost controller and turbo timer. Whats a good make to go for. any other advice to increase performance will be welcome. Please remember i do not want to blow my engine again!!!!! cheers Rav

i knew this was going to be difficult......ok maybe this might help. i want to increase the BHP to at least 500. I would like to be able to use nitros and basically drive fast without worrying about blowing the engine, pistons etc. i guess i am will to spend around about £3000 to £5000. I either sort the engine out or buy a new car? and in all honesty i dont want to part with my car.

well if i am going to spend £1500 on an engine i might as well go all the way. i just need ideas and advice and lots of them for example what type of turbos etc etc etc

Ok my engine is bust and i need a new one so i am still selling bit and bobs including my body to raise money. Anyway, here is my question. The engine will be coming out and an another going in so what can i do before the engine goes in to increase performance and make the engine more durable. I was thinking along the line of buying new turbos, forged pistons etc but the problem is i have only heard about these things but dont actually now anything about them or what they invlove. A list of all the things to do whlst the engine is out i will be helpful. Look forward to your replies. Rav

silverfox... i was going to fit traction control before my engine screwed up....anyway the quotes i got ranged from £80 to £100 for fitting the TC. normally i think traction is a hundred pounds or more expensive then my price but then again i am desperate. rav p.s. Andy....basically i had an engine oil leak whilst driving down to london consequently i have ruined the bearings and caused a few other problems as a result my engine RATTLES. anyway, having spoken to a few people i have been advised it is probably more cost effective to replace the engine then replace the damaged parts.

hi, now that i have your attention i really need your help. the engine on my 300zx has seized, stopped working, not ticking over etc etc etc...... basically i now need to raise £1500 to get another engine put in and fitted. i bought myself RACE LOGIC TRACTION CONTROL and before i could have it installed in my car the engine blew. Anyway, to raise money i need to sell my traction control ASAP. so is anyone interested. It is Brand new and everything is still in the original packaging. I am looking at around £500. I am sure there is someone that needs TC especially with the winter weather coming. Any advice on selling the TC will be greatfully appreciated. Rav
