New Car!!!!
A word of advice. the guys here know what they are talking about. i just bought a Zed in November 02. i went from a ford escort 1.6 to a 3L TT. i thought i would be ok but on my first day i ended up sideways and smashed my rear alloy, bent the wishbone and scrapped the side skirts. £2000 pounds later (new alloys and repairs) i learnt my lesson. remember, THIS WAS ON MY FIRST DAY. may the force be with you and good Zedding!!!!!! rav

i love my ZED......no really I do
I love my ZED. i have a black TT with a nice kit and i love it. I love the fact that everytime i drive around people either look and stare in admiration or they pull up next to me and tell me they think my car is great. I love the way people act when my car is parked up. they walk around pointing and gazing I love my Zed. i love racing around in it making sure people turn their head at the sound of the roaring engine. i love racing the amateurs with their MR2s, M3s etc etc. most of all i love the sound of the engine when accelerating and the sweet SSSHhhh of the dump valves. I really do love my car. I have met more women with my Zed (and slept with most of them) than at any other time at my life. I love they way they sit in my car flirting with my gear knob!!!! but do you know what i love most.... What i really love about my car is the fact that when it has a minor problem it costs hundreds of pounds to fix. Even then nobody can fix it (apart from Jeff TT). The most lovable thing is when it has a major problem, then it usually needs a new engine or it goes to the breakers!! I do really love my car. i love the way it has drained every penny i own. so much so that i have lost weight and become really fit from my diet of bread and water. I love my Zed. the Zed has allowed me to plan for the future. i have started to put money aside just in case i have a MINOR problem. i love the way i know what to expect. i expect to have spent the equal amount to its cost by the time i have had it for a year. I adore my Zed. It doesn`t matter how careful i am with the mileage my beatiful car drinks petrol like fish. I am suprised it hasn`t gone into engine (kidney) failure. Anyway, i am sure it will soon. Another good thing about my car is when i was racing a Fiesta turbo. i love the way my ZED spun out of control while trying to race him. and its great the way i now have to spend money on traction control. I really love my TT. i have spent almost double on insurance and then i had to pay extra for the mods isn`t that great!!! I love my ZED. i really do. What do you love about yours?????

Classic insurance-not again!!
i tried insurance factory. they said i have to be 30 or near thirty i.e. 29 for them to give me a decent quote. cheers anyway.these companies have so many criteria for you to fill. i am 26 and tried saying i was closer to 30 then 20. then i tried getting it insured on my fathers name, luckly he just gone 30 (50). but hey said it was based on the highest risk driver i.e. me.

the cost includes parts and labour. i paid about £500 for tailgate tub and round rear lights. i then paid £800 for fitting and spraying both lights and tailgate tub, front mesh grill and some touching up on my front bumper.

help!!! bodywork problems
i know i am being paranoid but it because i have nobody to discuss the issue with today (being sunday). i bought the parts from Zcentre and everything is paid for in cash (£1300), including the bodywork. i am just a bit annoyed but will keep you informed. cheers i would like to attach some pics as the car looks quite good but i dont know how to do it on the form.

help!!! bodywork problems
hi sorry to bother everyone but i am really stressed at the moment. i have just recently had some bodywork done to my car quite radical infact but it looks amazing. i was washing my car today and i noticed that the part of the kit that was blended in to the body of the car has cracked. its only been two weeks. i`m worried that if i take me car back to the guy that did the work he might turn around and ask me to pay for for the repair. as far as i understand it should neer happened so there must be a problem in the way he did the job or something along those lines. can anyone give me advice as i cant afford to pay for any repairs. cheers rav:confused:

Help on 300zx NA !!!!
the point5 i was trying to make was that surely getting a TT was much better than getting NOS on a non-turbo. i have a TT i am contemplating getting NOS or increasing the boost but many people have warned me of the dangers to the engine if it is not upgraded i.e. forged engines etc. correct me if i am wrong but if you install NOS or even upgrade the boost on a standard engine and knacker ityour engine surely its going to break the bank!!! but the sounds of your message you have NOS or at least have experience. i would appreciate more info as i am also interested.

Help on 300zx NA !!!!
have you ever driven a 30zx twin turbo. evidently not. if you are looking for speed what you need to do is trade it for a twin turbo. i am not sure where you can do that but others maybe able to give you more info. once you have a twin turbo there is soooooooo much that you can do to increase speed an i wouldnt recomend NOS unless you have forged pistons etc etc etc and even then you are looking at costs of £4000+++. i wanted NOS on my car then i bought a twin turbo. it is amazingly fast, so fast i havent thought about it again. good luck p.s. 300zx generally drink money so be careful, especially if you have a budget.

what are the figures?
it nice to know that when i strated this thread i was bombared with replies taking the piss... but i guess this has turned into a heated debate. could someone now consider answering my second question about traction control (its in my initial thread) hopefully this will also bring about much discussion.

what are the figures?
hi. just wanted to know what is the BHP for a standard TT? and what is it when its running 10-15psi. i like racing around in my zed and when i have beaten little racers they always want to know the statistics. whats the average 0-60 on 10-15psi boost. thanks for the info. p.s. i`m thinking of getting traction controll cause i always end up sideways. what are the disadvantages (someone told me its not always reliable). cheers guys
