who are 300zx styling not sure i`ve heard of them, do they have a website. did you get your kit of luke? who did the spraying and fitting?

jason - where did you get those silver bits to put in the arch vents and the extra vent on the window.....looks great? (who did the fitting and spraying?) Somebody told me luke has just put a new kit on his car....are the pics above of his new kit. if so the arches dont look any different from the stroseck ones or am i being stupid!

are there any insurance problems with getting a cat d and can you stick private plates on them!

i have seen many different variations / designs on the wide arch kits but cant seem to find any websites with the different designs. i had a look through previous posts on this subject and could find much. any ideas or websites or even pics

Just a quick question. I have a friend who buys cars that have been written of by the insurance companies. he gets them really really cheap, fixes them up and sells them on. I just wanted to know from you guys if its worth buying off him. I`m led to believe that there are more and more cat d cars on the road now! what do you think!

it all depends on what you want to do and get out of it. I was with the Navy for awhile, did`t enjoy it at all transferred to 144 Para (a TA unit) enjoyeed it so much that i;m going regular for the unit now!!!! For me i wanted to physical and mental challenge and there are only a few units that really give a you a run for your money.....good luck

advice needed guys: 1. my battery keeps running out if i dont use the car for4-5 days. I am pretty sure that there is nothing on in the car. this happens every week. could it be possible that low water levels in the battery are the cause. 2. i have the INSANE badge on my car but want to get another one. where can i get one? cheers guys

I think my brake pads have gone. I have uprated discs and have been using portafield track pads (steel braided). Although they squeak at low speed they certainly stop the car. Anyway, should i contine using these pads or is there something better. p.s. where can i buy castrol 10-60 oil as halfords or petrol stations dont sell it. cheers

i dont know much about either of the 2 cars especially in terms of performance. My Zed is fairly rapid with 360 BHP AT the rear wheels. what i dont want to do is buy another car and it not up to scratch performance wise. Does anyone here now about performance of TVR tuscan 4.0s and a bog standard porsche 996

i love my 300zx but i think the time MAY (i empasis on the MAY) have come for a change. I have been looking at the TVT Tuscans and the porsche 996 (with GT3 spec kit). as many of you are full of wisdom i thought you could give me some insight into the above cars. please dont hate me

Two very quick questions: 1. i havent driven my car for a week and suprisingly the battery is dead (any reason why?). As i have a few gadgets e.g. boost controllers and airflow thingy do these all need to be re-configured or will they all work like they should?????? 2. need someone local to install some sounds for me, subs amps and speakers. a few months ago there was a discussion / recommendation made by someone about the best radar/camera detector and another item which could jam lasers to give you enough time to slow down. just called them they wont insure me until i am 30...............even though i have 4 years and had a zed for 3 years. apparently they dont rape virgins!!!!!!!

i know lots of people ask this question but my one is slightly different. i have had a import about three years (i am 27)and have 4 years NCB and 3 points on my licence. The only mods i have declared are: CHIP - BHP stainless steel piping bodykit alloys. cat 1+tracker my renewal quote was £1345 and i thought i`d phone up and ask for discount at which point they told me the computer had made a mistake about the mods and my renewal would be £2000+. The problem is that i have phoned most of the companies recommended but all are quoting over £2000+. what can i do? i changed my zed for a more modified one this year and my premium wasnt affected that much!!! What should or shouldn`t i be declaring. Does anybody have similar mods and what are they paying. i dont really want to insure 3rd party fire and theft! please help insurance about to run out. cheers

Need your advice ASAP guys. I`ll try cut a long story short. I was driving to Kebab shop when i noticed a white cloud coming from my engine bay. I checked the temp Guage and it was above the middle (that is it was starting to get hot). I pulled over and lifted the hood to a huge white cloud and lots of hissing. Waited for everything to cool down and opened the radiator cap. On opening the cap there was a small gush of water and then a huge gush of steam. Anyway, after waiting longer i managed to fill the radiator with over 3 litres of water. I drove for a mile and stoppped. looked under the car and there was dripping of what i guess is water. I managed to fill the radiator with more water and quickly came home..... So whats going on? I assume there is a leak but can i do something about it or do i need to take it to a garage. I am at work tomorrow and dont have another car yet if i keep topping it up do you think i can last the week?
