OK mate, give me a clue as to what were looking at and I will tell you all I Know about it! :)

Tis a really stoopid place mate, at least I know what/where it is now! :)

Well the Zed passed the MOT today mate so that'll be going back home on monday, then I gotta tax it next week when I get paid and then were all done! I've tidied up the sills, resprayed them and they have come out pretty good TBH, also redone the front bumper with plastic primer and a few top coats. It bloomed a bit but T-Cut soon sorted that out. Also fitted some mesh to that gap in the front, looks alright for a quick job. It'll all last till she gets the bodykit and respray she deserves! Also mate, managed to figure out why I've got detonation up top end and full boost. Bloody plugs arnt platinum!! :( Cant believe prev owner has been running it with shitty plugs in!! This will hopefully be sorted next week, then I gotta get me new tracking arms and upper link arms fitted and then off to Tanvic to be 4-wheel aligned, that should stop me having blow outs!! Thank god!! ALL MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!! :) But I still love it! ;)

SORTED! Bloody PTU! I have fitted a bling pipe right next to it and I must have dislodged the connector to the PTU. SORTED! NICE ONE ERIC! :)

I have this exact problem now, was hoping to find a solution here! I have tested the coilpack connector ont he harness and there is definately a positive and negative current there. The third connector seems to trigger the spark and this is what I think is the problem. I tested this on another connector and you get an intermittent green light but when I put the tester on the dodgy connector, nothing, so no signal to trigger the spark. Any ideas guys??????? It was just about to go through the MOT. HELLPP!!!

LMAO, yeah they do look cool, no questions asked...... :bow: So I can still get up to 500bhp+ with decent side mounts then? Well in that case, that'll do..... :dance:

The plumbing was what I originally thought was gonan be a mare Mark TBH. So okay, I will go for the side mounts, whats the difference between standard and upgraded? Can u fit bigger IC in those small gaps? Also, can anyone give me any links so I can get specs, prices, info etc et etc :duffer: Cheers all so far, great help as per uuuuuusual! ;)

Just a thought...... Going with the Wings West front bumper: Front mounted intercoolers, I take it you need two?? Or will one suffice with remapped pipework? WHats the usual setup? Anyone draw me a diagram? And has antone got the specs of any uprated intercoolers? There seems to be loads of ebay for different cars (New and uprated ie. scooby front mounted) which are quite cheap, ie. £200 - £500 compared to the £1200 that some charge?!? :confused: Need advice oh wise ones :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:

Hi Ivan, I think it was a 'G' mate TBH, looked like a bit of a Chav I thought. Kinda took my exclusivity of the Zed away for a bit but then it may of been an N/A!? He diddnt pay any attention to my car what-so-ever which I thought was a bit odd!? LMAO, white Volvo, what can I say, yup, bin drivin around in that fVckin depressin car for about a month but finally finished fitting a second hand engine from Traynors in my Primera.....so, I am taking the LOAN Ovlov back this week! :) The seats are cool, heated too int he Ovlov, but the look of the car, well, got the pi55 took from em mates BIG style! AH well. The Zed wasnt MOT'd so couldnt use that. Re-mot fro the Zed on Tuesday, welding, brakes and exhaust rubber all sorted, so when that passes just gotta tax it and I'm back on the road. Then the Insurance is due on the primera. Hate this time of year mate, two lots of tax and mot's and insurances....always kicks my ass for a couple of months!! AH well, Zeds about back! :hyper: How'd u know about the Ovlov anyway? :confused:

Yeah, done all the basics to see if the bulbs r the problem, they've all been tested, even used new bulbs but no good. The black box should arrive tomorrow, spoken TO JeffTT and he thinks this is likely to be the problem. Its too weird a problem to be as simple as a bulb....

LMAO, 'm sure its volts?!? Well, has a V next to the number on my multimeter!! lol Anyway, it now seems its the little black box under the drivers side boot panel that the problem. :)

All, Weird issue here with my passenger side rear light. Basically, the light doesnt work but the other side does and when I the brake light works fine?!? Just the normal driving light thats the problem?? I checked the voltage and its about 25.1v?!? The other is about 24.8?!? So it has current. I tested the wires to that bulb with a cold cathode tude running through a transducer??? Dont ask why, but anyway. The tube onyl half lights using the wires from the faulty side, whereas it lights fully when I used the wires fromt he good side??? WTF??? The voltage is higher ont he dodgy side so why doesnt it work? I will investigate more tomorrow but I thougt that you guys could perhaps shed some light..... :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

As Greg says, keep her matey, there well worth it. Yeah there expensive, but so fVcking what, its onyl cash. And the pleasure U get when U slowly press the accelerator and watch the boost rise, then about half way, foot down............eeeeeeaaaarrrrr wweeeeee goooooo!!!!!! Awesome cars, awesome........... You wont regret it.....;)
