  1. Chew-brocolli  :D Class.... Ham-Solo....LMAO
  2. All users here need to be roaming Angus, although I have tried without using a mandatory and roaming profile and allowed an account to operate of the locally cached profiles but still thsi doesnt work.... Fault now logged with Microsft.....are they Irish?!? lol :D
  3. Hey, I have been on here longer than some here so another one for me! :D
  4. Hi Steve Well were using roaming profiles here but I have tested the problem with a non-roaming user and still the same problem?? Strange how it doesnt do it for the Admin accounts?!? Makes it lean towards permissions...hmmm? We dont use group policies here yet mate, were still on an NT Domain until later this year. If a it was a global issue then I would get this on all laptop users. Its just on this one laptop and its onyl admin profiles that can be found. Its that classic message 'Windows cannot find you local profile and is attempting to log you on with a locally cached profile' followed by 'Windows cannot find your local profile and is logging you on with a temporary profile'. Here's another thought, some part of the network account must be cached cus if you try and log with an network account that has never logged onto the PC before, it states that 'No domain controller is available' as you would expect. So, in essence, when the cached network accoutn logs on, XP is recongnising the fact that the network account has been used before, it just cant find the cached account, even though it is there?!? And the generates a new profile with the prefix .000 etc etc etc WHY? I might end up ringing MIcrosfot at this rate?!? :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal
  5. Guys This problem is doing my head in so I am oposting here to see if any of you IT bods have a clue.... Its a XP SP2 install, office XP etc etc etc on a laptop... I want the user to be able to work from home loading her domain profile and then dial in etc etc, as do most users here without a problem.... However.... This laptop wont recongnise the already chached profile under Documents and settings unless its an administrator account... What it does is keep building a new local profile (well, local roaming profile) with the extension .000, then .001 and so on......bloody annoying!!! :headvswal If I log on with the domain admin or local admin account it doesnt do this so you'd think permissioney kinda problem, but I made everyone local admins to see if that helped but still no good???? I am about out of ideas and I cant find anything on Technet to help?!? Any ideas guys?

  9. Well yeah as Yas says you need a twin entry, but they state its an INTERCOOLER for a Z32, so it cant be the NA as they dont have them so it has to be a TT, which in turn, must be twin entry?!? I have mailed them anyhows and if that price is right, you know I am gonna buy one!! :D
  10. Ok, so wheres the catch?!? Anyone dealt with these! A HKS intercooler system for about £500!!! WTF?!? :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: or :mac1: :mac1: :mac1: :mac1: http://www.modacar.com/products/Nissan/300ZX/MODAINT

I cant even be arsed to read through half these posts guys sorry, but I did catch roberts thoughts that a Zed mid-range isnt as good as it used to be. Thats tosh mate sorry, look at the 350Z, the 300's quicker once the 2-3rd gear change comes through and I have to say, even when my Zed was marginally standard, I was never beaten mid range by anything other than a 600bhp merc.... Something IS wrong with your zed....FACT.. :) Get it dyno'ed....

    Very nice... :)
  15. Guys I either need to purchase a sheet of Stainless steel and get them cut to size or buy some flanges made out of stainless steel to fit my new de-cat pipes. Can anyone helps with supplying either?? :duffer: PS. The pipe is 60mm bore and the ideal width for the flange I guess is 8mm....
  16. Hi Dave, yes mate no probs, I spoke to Chris yesterday and told him it'll be there within the next month. I want to get it tuned, 4-wheel aligned and running properly before it goes there. I gotta choose my side skirts yet too, not sure which ones to go for?? Are you wanting more work done?
  17. Thanks guys for your kind comments, she'e been really hard work and what with only having the weekends to work on her, mainly saturdays, time is quite precious.......no comment on the amount she's costing either! ;) Better shot of Spinksy? Is that possible? Only messing mate if your reading :D
  18. Hi Vinz I am doing the work mate, well me and Phil (Spinksy). We use my father-in-laws garage over in Grantham which is a godsend, all the ramps, tools etc at my disposal. That clutch is one I bought from the states. Its an XTD Stage 3 6 paddle clutch, good for 500bhp allegedy..... She'll be back up within the next few weeks after 8 months off the road but then I lose her for another 3 weeks whilst the bodykit goes on and she's painted :( It'll all be worth it though.... :)
  19. Very very funny mate......pmsl
  20. Nice mate but need to sort those rear wheels ;)
  21. Some pics from the past months progress...she's ready for fluids now and then off to the paint shop :d : :hyper:
  22. :smash: Your turning the CAS manually so it wont fire... :)
  23. Well, I dont see the point of going over stuff you a;lready know but here goes anyway mate: ;) This is what I believe although any teccies please feel free to correct me, the vacuum tank acts like a resevoir?! for the clutch system to build up pressure. This then reduces the pressure needed to depress the clutch. :hyper: I believe that without this, the clutch is harder to press?!? I could be wrong mate but thats my overview.... :smash: Let your mum know what I think I know... :D cheers :p
  24. LMAO, best way for you to check mate is to look at the balance bar and see where the pipe goes (remember that extra one we spoke about in another thread?), it should go to the inner wing but if yours is like mine (ie. no vacuum tank), the pipe will go straight back to he bulk head where the clutch pedal is. :D I think I remember Jeff tellin me that yours isnt vacuum assisted... :)
