lol, it is daunting mate at first but I am quietly confident about putting the dash back in next weekend..... Its a good time to replace the anti-squeak rubber around the dash though..... :)

Errrmmm, hmmmm, well, it kinda started a couple of weeks ago when I was preparing to fit my nismo 555's. Started stripping the loom down to remove the plenum and just about every connector on the engine side broke!!! Nissan dont sell the connectors seperately (So what the hell your supposed to do if you break ONE I dont know, nor did the guy at the Dealership! lol) so I am having to get a whole new engine loom. Nissan want £800 inc the VAT! LMAO!!! :rofl: FAT chance! Anyway, to remove the loom, the cooler unit for the Air con has to come out as the loom enters the bulkhead from the ECU behind it and without taking the dash off, there's no way you'd get it out.......it is out now though.... :) All door panels and interior have also been removed and taken home so I can retrim them over the next week at home in the evenings....DIY job coming up! :) Also, with all this room (No plenum, engine manifold, dashboard) fitting my manual kit will be loads easier! :D I'll post some more piccies up after easter weekend, 4 days of putting the zed all back together..... :duffer: Once thats done, its a few hundred miles to put some miles back on her and then into the bodyshop to look like my sig.....finally after 2 years...... :duffer:

Dash off today, loom out, well will be within the next 30 minutes, injectors back out to be checked and interior panels removed and taken home to be re-covered...... Anyways, heres the pics....

All I need to disconnect the two pipes that lead through the bulk head to the Air Con unit so that I can remove the engine wiring loom going through the bulk head, tight as can be to remove without I can tell you!! :( Can I just unscrew them or will gases end up blowing my lungs up? :D Searching for a FAQ now but struggling..... :(

Well I am in the middle of removing the Air Con unit, in the middle seems to be a rotating carousel and if anything has gone into their (God knows how it'd get in there??) then that would creat a rattling noise.... You can remove the unit without removing the dash apparentley, although dash out is alot easier... Look on http://www.twinturbo.net for the FAQ of how to remove the unit...

Guys You wouldnt believe how much of a mess it was underneath my nose cone on the zed, ripped out the HKS filter which is now for sale and I want to fit an Apexi unit. Thing is, I cant see there being enough space.... I seem to have about 5 coolers in a row including the rad... Can someone name them for me so I know whether I can rip them out or I do actually need them: TA :)

No mate, its an arc... Its at the bodyshop at the moment. I will phone my guy tomorrow and ask him to get a pic....its a custom job and looks sweet, it just came as part of a package bodykit so I took it anyway....

I POSSIBLY have a single exit aftermarket bumper for sale, looks very similiar to the one on leigh's but mine has a opening running from one side to the other, hard to explain, but imagine a hole to the left of where leigh's exhaust is. Put your finger in that hole and run it all the way across to the other side...... Get my drift? If your interested in buying it let me know, as I need an aftermarket twin exit....
