  1. Nice looking NA mate, not sure about the wing but the rest is sweet...
  2. I also find it hard to hear people saying this. To me, as long as you get the right stockist, powerflow are pound for pound fVcking amazing. The guy at Mr.Tyres in Leicester really knows his stuff! I have had a powerflow mid section for over 2 and a half years with no corrosion what-so-ever. Having now just removed the center section as I purchased some decat pipes and the join is further down the car. The guy @ Powerflow made me two custom pipes out of stainless steel for £50 so I now have a straight through system. (Havent started the car yet to see how loud it is!!!) Like James says, you guys must have been treated badly by the stockist. Come to the Leicester branch, you'll get a custom made stainless steel system for a bargain price. ;) PS. I have a full stainless centre section for sale that could be modified to fit your SWB (ie. shortened) for £50+ P+P.
  3. Ditto, got so p1ssed off, loom change was the only answer.... :hyper:
  4. I got a set from him last week too, £150 all in, awesome quality....top bloke too!
  5. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=38786&item=7970813139&rd=1 Just trying to help someone out here, look how cheap these pipes are!! :headvswal :headvswal
  6. Mark Dont worry mate, I was there 2 months ago. Although, take out your gearbox and seats, then remove your plenum and ECU wiring loom and then your as far stripped as I was! Very scary but she's almost back together now! ;)
  7. Since Xmas almost all my disposal income has gone on the Zed and as long as I take the missus out to dinner once or twice a month, she's cool. I cant ask for anymore than that.....althouh she wants to a book a holiday soon but I need to get the car sprayed in time for JAE. I am thinking my cars goin to be looking standard or I'll be single @ JAE with a sh1t-hot lookign car.... Hmmm.....holiday it is I think, she deserves it...
  8. Having gone over the ADSA roundabout, you turned up towards the A52... Younglish lad with bird next to him, aftermarket pipes but the rest looked standard....
  9. Good points there lads, thanks... I have a primera 2.0 diesel, still Nissan hey!, as a daily runner and dont get me wrong, its great, until I want to overtake or have a bit of fun!! :nono: I get scared witless when I am overtaking..... In my defense, it has been 8 months since I drove my zed although Spinksy did let me have a drive in his the other week which was awesome, and thats more or less standard power wise.... SIGH......this weekend though she should be all built back up..... Be nice to have an NA though, but like you say, would the weekends still be as special?
  10. Been thinking about getting an NA as a daily driver, obviously keeping it standard and (Although have you seen those stainless headers on Ebay for £150!) keeping the TT modded mother for the weekends. Has anyone else done this? Anyone think of any pros/cons? Opinions appreciated..... TA..... ;)
  11. Fooking 'ell Yaz, I guess some people just aint meant to drive! LMAO! :smash: Only once has the Zed ever caught me out, dry day, went o over take when the car was an auto, floored it, the tyre nearest the kerb must have touch some leaves of somet like that, the car almost doubled back on itself, ie 180 degree spin!! Fooking shat me pants and got it back in line quickly..... Lesson learnt, always countersteer as soon as the boost comes on! :D :slap:
  12. Well, HOPEFULLY the cars running by then, well it better be! Wont be painted with kit though but I need to give it a good run beforehand. I've have got loads of work to do so we'll aim for this! (you listening Mr.Spinks? ;) ) Put me down 1. The Dark Warrior 2. Chunk 3. Peach 4. Spinksy 5. Slick Pete 6. Mark The clocks ticking....
  13. As I said Alex, I diddnt. Since then, I have done SO SO SO much to the car including a new loom and manual conversion, so all the pipes for the boost controller and the wiring have all been disconnectedand now reconnected back up. If it still plays up then I know its a hardware fault rather than a loose wire or something like that. I will keep you posted as the car will be back on the road within the next few weeks.
  14. I had this problem last year before I started doing loads of work on my car. My AVC-R would just step into safety boost for no reason?!? Or the valve would stop working? Very stange issue and never did find out what caused it?!? I hope it doesnt start happening again when she's all back together.... :(
  15. It's original, honest guv.... :smash: :p :D
  16. Wow, thanks Eric for that info. I know what I am gonna be reading in bed for the next few nights! :D I will make what I can from these links and let you know how I get on... Cheers Mark.
  17. I see, well apparently my JWT chip isnt good enough for the fuelling that I want so I need to sort that issue out. As you can tell I am stepping into unknown territory here with the Z32 so I based this thread on a Apexi Power FC cus I knew that would centre around this issue. That kinda makes sense, I think!?! Anyway, if I (or someone can tell me how) can tune the stock ECU, how do I do this? What do I need to buy and is there any training available?!? Thanks for any help.... I dont want to become a certified mechanic/car tuner, I just want to be able to do most thing on my car myself.... :D Regards An enthusiastic Mr.Stevens :D :D :D :D
  18. Anyone got one? Any good? Need something better to handle the 555,tubs and more boost...

Its really good to see so many new faces placing trust in Jeff after all thats been said and done. He came with me to purchase my car and I have had my share of issues but through my own fault of modding a relatively standard car (let that be a warning to all of you still standard considering modding). Things will break under more force. That was over 2 years ago now. Since then, he has helped me no-end and saved me loads of money in comparison to Nissan. His advice to me has been priceless...... Las night, me and Spinksy went up there and as a few of you might know Phil's car has been running crap ever since going to a meet a few months ago. Jeff put the conzult on Phil's car and found it to be 15 degrees advance on the timing!!!! The IACV was also compensating at 55% on idle so as you can imagine it was running pretty rich. Jeff altered the CAS to get the timing bang on and then cleared the fault codes from the ECU. Then, chequed the conzult again and all was OK. Took it for a spin to check for detonation and all I will say is "What the hell am I doing modifying mine!!". To feel the standard power again was awesome (I have been driving round in a primera diesel for the past 7 months! :D ). On top of that, Jeff let me have a couple of interior panels that were broken on mine for retrimming, FREE! He wouldnt take any money when both of us offered to pay for the service/parts...... Now, you dont get that kind of service from Nissan......
  20. Cool, a must b done mod... :) Need a manual shift knob though now to match the handbrake lever....
  21. Nick mate, what are you doing?! :smash: :smash: Why you selling up after all that money you've piled into her?!?
  22. I'd get a bank loan mate if your gonna try and catch macca. :x: Scrap that, re mortgage! That kid aint gonna be in town for quite a while.... :p
  23. I heyar ya Paul, I have been driving my 'L' reg primera diesel for the past 7 months whilst the zed's been off the road. Friggin depressin!! When I go out in my brother Astra GSi, it feel well quick! Never used to! :( Ah well, end of may and she's back! Stronger, faster and better looking! ;)
  24. This headlight issue is begining to become a right pain. I had (have) this problem last year but the headlight stayed off permanentl. Phil (Spinksy) now has this problem too. Obviously something weak on a zed that I might have to find the answer for....
