Honest Opinion : Manual V Auto
You have said it yourself :) Now go out and get a manual Zed

what mm spacers do you guys have if you have them!
just put a ruler on your wheel (Outer rim of the alloy) and measure the distance between there and where you want it to be (Tight with the Arch lip or sticking out) then get the closest one to it! You can usually get like 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm which should accommodate you no problem! All depends on what wheels you have on already and their offset

AMS Brake Rotors
Brakes are probably the one thing that you never want to go budget on as remember this is what stops you from smashing into the car in front of you every time you press that pedal :)

Hicas Yes or No?
Zeds are front heavy... reducing weight on the rear is only getting to make that nose heavier and you wont be worrying about oversteer as much at high speeds but understeer :) keeping it is a good idea, adjustable camber on the move is a rare piece of kit these days! it was the f1 tech of its day too :)

carbon fibre boot lid
If you were going to paint it, wouldnt you buy the fibreglass one he is offering as it weighs the same, and is easy to paint compared to painting over CF! Also you have to note that our cars are already front heavy, so by making a bigger front to rear weight distribution you are only to upset the handling more and more. Global weight reduction is justa s important as correct weight distribution. :) Plus as all the weight in the front you would suffer major under-steer, so you would have a RWD car that handles like a FWD LOL!

stange goings on under my bonnet
Try an Engine Oil flush i have used it ages ago and it worked a treat. (CLICK ME) Far cheaper alternative that if works saves you a truck load and if it doesnt puts you like £30 out of pocket no biggie! Also as you said earlier a slightly thicker oil should do the job to lube them back up properly

Z wont start
Check the physical wiring of the fuel pump as mine melted during a road trip in europe! Its located under the boot carpet and under the spare wheel if you still have it! That or check Crank Angle Sensor (Although fuel is pumping at this point) tiny little plug underneath boost pipes on the right hand side of the engine! Other than that recheck your fuses

Staffordshire Meet!
Its up to the Birthday boy!!! Come on dude what time do you want to kick this day off? Being a brewers fayre (if my suggestion is taken) it is usually busy on a Sunday afternoon but there will still be plenty of space for us :) Could always do a Mid-day start there for a few hours then all go our separate ways. Sound cool?

Greddy Profec B Spec 2 thing
If you read the instructions manual it explains what each function does on the boost controller. If its a long delay your 'Gain' may be set to a funny %. If you state all your settings on boost we may be able to see it clearly. on my High boost i set it to 28% which boosts quick and gives a nice punch but runs out of puff around 5500rpm.
