I know sticky rear brake shoes can cause issues at high speeds might want to lube them up abit and check your diff oil as it may be low and not lubricating as it spins at such high speeds! Apart from that your checklist seems to be on a good track to making a healthier zed!

Hey guys i have been designing a Concept Car for my university project and i need to come up with a Name for it!!! So it is not made by a current manufacturer so i need a Manufacturer name as well! For example i would need to call my car Ascari Kz1!! As i need manufacturer name and Car Model name! It is a sport coupe with Gullwing doors, and some Jet Fighter Elements for the Rear Wheel Design! I will post some pics up in a bit once i finish my research dissertation!! Nominated by my friends - HMS Fairlady (lol) or an Ion Wing NEW Nomination - Cykler H+ It will be classed as a UK car too. well its only on launch so i think if it was wheel bearings it would be at high speed. Defiantly not sticky brake shoes! Will check out your idea Old Boy although last time i looked under the car everything was very tidy including the diff! Will keep looking see if anything crops up! Oki doki chaps when i pull off from a stand still sometimes i get this horrible squeal from the back which kid of sounds like a tyre squeal but it isnt!! (if that makes sense) Looking through the forums it seems it may well be my Diff is low on Oil! i have checked for leaks and found None :( Question 1. Which Diff oil should i get?? Hey posted this up a few times is a really good afternoon always a good turnout (plenty of Porsche's, TVR, Lotus, Audi, Mini's, Few Ferraris and Astons on occasion) Free entry to the museum which is spectaciular!Always get stares as apart from EDK83 a few times im the only Zed to go Always nice cars there see the photo album! Also GuynKate got alot of peeks too :p Postcode is TF11 8UP! Super easy to find and people usually hang around till 1 then most go and few remain till as late as 3pm!Would advise getting there early like 9.30latest! No dumb kids screwing around which is awesome!! Well as far as i know on this subject... UK doesnt use Radars anymore they only use Lasers... so a Radar Detector is useless and Cameras don't pump out any signals so... useless!!! With Tech around Lasers as far as im aware they only go Nuts when a Laser has been Fired (IE A SIGNAL) but i don't think we can out-brake the speed of a laser do you?? I have a radar detector (Bought for a Europe Driving Event) was useful there as they don't have the laser tech as we do, and when i tried it here it went nuts at every Traffic light (the Pedestrian sensors) and at the Infared sensors on Motorway overpasses! Thats the idea of Cameras... they dont pump out any signal so you just have to watch your speed and keep an eye out for Signs (as by law there have to be signs stating speed cameras in this area) So will probably be useless to you!Thats based on the knowledge that i have! I second that! did an engine flush on my old engine got rid of some noisy tappets! YEY!!! Would recommend an engine flush! very easy and can make things alot better!
