Hey all, Had the zed about a month and all has been great, left it sitting for a week and it has got a flat battery as fob wont unlock. no bother until i find that none of the 3 keys i have will open any of the locks. i have searched the forum but to no avail, has anyone hadd this issue and how did you resolve it??? looks like my titanium key only does the ignition!! Any and all help would be much appreciated! Thanks Steve

Evening all, So i am playing with the zed now and after sorting out my interior gaiters and stereo situation i have a 1 piece prop to fit courtesy of the previous owner. How heavy are they as this 1 piece (i am told its a lightweight) i dont have any scales but i would imagine a good 20kgs plus at least. Also i have had a few people asking me the make and model of my wheels. i am yet to receive my hydraulic jack so cant get them off to check. Can anyone Recognize them? Going to see if i can sneak into work and swap the prop over myself. Anyone have a list of tools required? Many Thanks in Advance Steve

im pretty sure ive seen your zed (nearish Shell) im only around the corner myself in the estate opposite the Tarmacadam also by the shell. We should meet up to compare Zeds. Would be nice to get back into the frey a bit and meet some Zed enthusiasts.

Evening all! Just wanted to announce my return to the world of the Zeds! Went to view it on Sunday morning bought it and then had a nice 275mile drive and it was sweet as a nut. So happy to be back in the world and love the power (running 426bhp) It was bought off 'rusty.sills' off here and it was great to meet him and a genuine seller and was glad to get a great zed off such an enthusiast. Got a few things i need to do to get her 100% but only very minor, body and engine and 100% strong and straight! Thanks Munny975

disconnect the wire for the aerial from your headunit :) think the fuse is in driver footwell

the PCD (Spacing of the bolts) will be the same on the r33 and 300z so technically yes they will fit on but they will really stick out! Front will rub when turning but shove them on and take a snap :)

you can get suction pads so you can stick it to glass. pop it on inside of your targa and its perfect ;)

i have seen a Sock as an air filter before! Was good until the turbo tried to eat the sock lol!!! Air filter and put a 2way Fan in the pipe to help push flow to turbo quicker. Look at Air Conditioner Systems for fans

No it was Using Launch Control Feature on the car voided warrenty!

Im sure those Brakes are worth a fair few quid as well! Calipers alone must be worth a a 300zx XD Shame to see but a smart crook would have had the brakes as well! They just werent looking at the big picture lol

Just get some Ducting and point those bad boys right at your Intake and your all set! or what i did and point them at the Oil Cooler as Jap spec one doesnt do well when car is on track :)

mine came in a jiffy bag inside a box! Was very small and they did pop it through the letterbox. Imagine a 3 dimentional letter and that's it.

lower the offset (closer to 0) the further the wheel will stick out from the hub. I think an ET15-20 is pretty much on the lip of the front arch IIRC, also for the rears i think its ET30 thats the golden one but i could be mistaken! Im sure there is a Wheel Thread on the forum somewhere

Wasnt it damaged in the accident the car was in when it was stolen?? Didnt see him say it was involved in a theft and accident Sounds like bull to me but could be wrong! Plug the lead you took out back in! Probably Blown Even halfrauds will connect some wires back up for a tenner! And Why not spend this and sell the car for loads more with just 1 alloy needing replaced? Think as we all found on the forum this guy is a chump at best and still seems to be!

Just remember its far better to be over-fueling abit at high boost than running lean :) 02 Sensors will determine Air/Fuel mix. If one is naff it resorts back to stock settings (ECU Dependant) so this could be a reason why you are over-fueling :)

i used the bigred.co.uk ones for my front and worked well and all correct sizes! Definatly a safe bet :)

PTU is the Power Transister Unit, Look at the Left side of Cam Cover its the Square thing fixed underneath that big connector. It is a Series 1 which were prone to overheating which cause electricity to spark plugs and coilpacks to be unstable. Car Never had any previous issues before hand with it. When your issues Started (bobo_999) was it a Hot Day???

After just over 3years of ownership the Zed is finally gone, to someone who really loved it and has such high hopes and good ideas about what to do with it! I do wish the new owner all the luck with it and a pleasant and trouble-free time with his new 300! I have told him all about this forum and hopefully we should see him some time soon on here posting away!! i just fitted some bulbs in the indicators and wired them into the Sidelights so the indicators light up white when driving at night then the orange takes over when indicating! Simples and clean too
