This is prob my next task so a couple of questions if ok, does it seem any louder, and how long did it take to fit them was it very awkward????

This even sounds silly to me but!! i had my spoiler off, as it was at the paint shop but was still using the car, i dropped a friend to pick his car up after a night on the town and he was goading me on the way back to put my foot down which i did, and at high speed i swear the car felt less stable than normal, the conditions were good, summer etc no wind to speak of but everyone ive told grinned at me like i was dopey, never mind eh i think that it does make a difference. p.s. when i say high speed i mean speeds around 63 mph honest officer

Just wondering how "costly" these cars actually are?? i dont mean routine stuff, or mods that have failed, i mean unexpected mechanical/electrical failures causing a breakdown??, as by the very nature of this site we will hear of probs but i keep reading about how the zed is not reliable, but wonder if this is just a minority as mine has cost me very little, eg PTU, heater matrix, and a rad hose!! total unplanned expenditure in a year==== 275quid in bits 120quid in labour, not too bad in a year, how much have u spent ?????

My gfs adore it, and can sometimes be seen just stood there staring at it thru the window, and two girls in a zx (citroen mind) stopped outside my drive, pointed at the zed then drove off nodding and passenger looking back???? not had anyone take photo yet tho, cant help but think thats a bit sad:( :( :( :confused: :D

Cleaned aac valve out and all pipes around it, then went in to throttle bods and toothbrushed everywhere and squirted carb cleaner all over the place till u could eat your dinner out of them but she still hesitates almost cuts out if the revs are low to start off with??? wonder what else it could be, been on nissans diagnostic machine but shows up no faults any one else had this prob??

ps my cars hesitation after tickover is what im trying to cure, cheers

Bought some carb cleaner today gonna do throttle bods and that valve thing at the back on the left ! but can anyone point me in the direction of a link or advise me on how i should be doing it and or what the valve does ???? do i have to remove it to clean it??? and how far into the throttle bods do i go, i tried it b4 but used wd 40, ive since read thats not the best !! but it never worked anyway so i wondered if i had done it wrong?? never knew about that valve til recent tho, gonna do it in morn as its only chance i got 4 a while

May 03 bring lots a mpg, reliability, sunshine to remove the t tops and plenty of sidewards manouvres :D :D :D :D :D

jesus even if your 300 comes back from wherever it is on only 3 cyls itl still feel like most powerfull car in galaxy after 1.1 lol, at least i know i not alone lol

Recently bought a nova td, to get me about thru winter, but after two weeks my heads done in although i know its cheaper and keeping the 300 nice im tempted to bin the idea, does anyone else have a 2nd car ??? if so how do u cope n wot is it ?????

Does anyone have a clue as to why this stupid light ( red "lights" symbol to left of steering wheel) keeps illuminating when i break ? its starting to send me mad, i have checked and both lights and spoiler are fully functional ???? arrgh:mad: :confused:

Has anyone on here had any dealings with nitrous kits on a Z i have just seen how relatively inexpensive it is(£5-600) and the claims of 50 to 200 bhp increase are quite enticing, i would opt for the less expensive not so balls out but still incredible 75 bhp on tap ??? any help much app, the site claims its v safe, and im seriously considering it, but scared i wreck my motor and wallet

i have prelude also, well its my wifes, 94 l plate, and to be fair i think its build quality is better, but thats all. the prelude is great to drive but when i get out of that and into my 300 i get the 300 grin !! its quicker by far, handling is incredible in comparison but she gets 20 miles more out of a tank full than me. But unless more than 2 are going we take the Z, even she prefers mine which says alot, but we not got quite enough money to get her one YET!!!

but do u replace pipes or just take cats out do u need to re wire anything ???
