Got fined today, was waiting for a call from the garage to tell me when my z was ready to pick up, (had a tint put on windows looks the biz);) any way, my phone on silent, me in the courtesy car, noticed voice mail on my moby, picks it up to listen, im at a round about waiting to pull away when wpc plod drives round rbout in front of me staring, by the way theres still nothing behind me so i not holding any one up, so i pull off round rbout and plod comes back pulls me in says do you kno why i stopped u, to which i say prob the voice mail, she asks me in the panda car with pc miserable, do nothing but check me and courtessy car out, when she then writes a producer out and gives me a ticket for "not in proper control of a vehicle" when i said what happened to a good old fasioned telling off she said its up to her weather to tell me off or give a 30 pound fine, i got the thirty pound fine, i have never even heard of this offence is it real?? its so annoying as i was caught 40 in a 30 last week so i now owe the police ninety quid, yet they drive about talkin on their radios so are they in proper control ?? Im unhappy that its so open yet i got fined, like when would they decide not to fine u n just tick u off, blah blahh rant rant etc etc grrrrrr

Oh ps andy,your bang on about the speed, its from about 55 then as you speed up it gets louder i think but then so does road noise and boom etc which makes it awkward, is it much of a job??

I seem to be getting a slight vibration coming up throught the seat, its only very slight but i think im hearing a noise like a gentle hum with it, although im a right fanny when it comes to noises i dont think im imagining it, but it is or rather must be at an early stage, could it be the prop bearing on its way out perhaps??? or am i on the wrong track, its not wheel balancing or wheel bearing noise any ideas / info would be v much appreciated, eg is there a way to check this bearing etc

Eric, the figs jeff 300 quotes are also repeated in the numerous nissan literature i have also, i never took offence at the later posts you submitted, as im sure you genuinely thought you were correct nd were all pals on here anyway even if our opinions sometimes do differ, one of the guys i work alongside has a vts, (which i drive often too)and frequently tries to overtake/race on way home and i know first hand the difference from any speed between not only my 17.5 to fourty mph(tee hee) zed but other such cars as you mentioned (i sell exec cars) and all joking aside its quite staggering, although i did have problems getting past a 1.1 saxo east coast at asda the other day, oh and by the way PAUL C, when you raced me the other day in my f1 mclaren, it was unfair as id a lemon meringue on the back seat

It's easily comparable to Audi TT 180hp, and Focus ST170s and NA Zs, they'll also do OK against Williams Clios and 172s. This is possibly the most hilarious thing i have heard on here, unbelievable, a girlie shopping car taking on any of above mentioned would be a joke roflmao
