Quick question - how did you seal up the lights? As in what did you use? A few of mine have quite bad condensation so would be a job worth doing for me I think...

Really? I was under the impression the heatshield was there purely to protect the bonnet and paintwork! If it doesn't affect these things what's the point of having it at all then??

I haven't asked MJP/Andy Z yet no...and although the steam coming off would look cool I think I'd like to try and preserve my bonnet more! I've noticed some cracks in the paint where the FG moldings are on the vent - not sure if this due to the heat but just thought that I could tidy up the bay while I'm at it! Is there nothing I can get of fleabay and 'cut to size'?

Anyone know where I can get the heat shield/padding to go on the inside of the bonnet? Mine's looking rather tatty so could do with being replaced. No damage to paint yet though luckily!

Right, as my bonnet is non-standard the previous owner decided to clip the washer hoses/jets to the underside so that the spray comes between the lip of the bonnet and the scuttle panel. It was working well until the hose came a little lose - long story short, the front washers don't even hit the window anymore and have lost 80% pressure! I've been searching for appropriate washer jets that could be adapted to fit under the bonnet as it is now but none seem to be right...anyone have any ideas as to what I can do? Currently, the jet is just the hose with a solid piece of metal tubing with a very small hole in it...creating the pressue to hit the screen... ...I read in a guys 'for sale' ad that he has modded his washers and fitted 'DAF lorry 1's washer arms'?? I've not come across this before but I imagine its a mod that means the wash is sprayed from/along the wiper arm itself? ANyone know any details on this?? Also, my rear washer has stopped completely (yes, there is water in the bottle).. Apologies for the long post...any help?
