  1. Happy birthday Joely!
  2. Happy belated Birthday Andy!
  3. Happy belated Birthday Andrew!
  4. I wasn't looking for light up bits so you're fine there! I'll DM you for more info. I had just gathered all the info from them and had a brief message back and forth with the intention of thinking through what I want and placing an order. Happy to share the info I got from them.
  5. Very interested. I'm sure you're aware of the another 3d printer in the US who makes a very similar product for our cars. I was about to place an order imminently! Do you have a price list for options? As you mention logo etc aren't included in the base price.
  6. A new venue and event from the team at PetrolHeadonism. I was fortunate enough to be picked to show at this event but unfortunately can no longer make it. It promises to be different to the standard car meet / show. Any marque is fine so no judgement at PH events. The organiser Ciro is a nice chap too which helps. This event is being hosted in the carpark of Wembley Stadium! https://www.petrolheadonism.club/underground
  7. An event I've been wanting to go to for a while is the Players Classic held at Goodwood. I've been fortunate to be accepted to show this year and will be attending on the Sunday. 18th (Fathers' Day). Info below - it does look to be a fun and relaxed show. And for anyone that's not been to an event at Goodwood before, it's a great venue and easy to get to! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fcfygeTseA&t=48s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fnMZkPAPLE&t=10s https://www.players-show.com/tickets
  8. Having only a single garage which resides at the bottom of a rather steep drive, I looked into alternative solutions to keep the Zed safe from mischief. I did consider renting a garage / lockup but nothing was available within a reasonable distance. I soon came across CarCoon and the several review videos I watched on YT convinced me that it was the way to go. It seemed Demon Tweeks are the only supplier in the UK so I duly submitted an order back in July 2022 for an original delivery date in September. A day before the delivery date I received a notification that it was being rescheduled for a month later...and on each subsequent month I would receive the same reschedule notification til in December (when they pushed it into Jan) I decided enough was enough and cancelled my order for a refund. In the interim I found a company based in Germany who were providing essentially the same product for pretty much the same price. So I submitted an order for an Outdoor Shield with InTheGarage. Order placed at the end of Dec and it arrived this past week. Duly assembled today (in less than 20mins) after my morning at the SCM meet at MB World...photos of before and afters. So far it looks pretty good and solid. It took about 2-3mins to fully inflate! I haven't yet connect up my trickle charger but will do so soon. My only remaining question is what I do with the cover when I'm out in the car....it would be a pain to have to roll it up and store it each time but also conscious of the fact that it could be stolen pretty easily if just left on the drive!
  9. You made the main banner @RichardS ? https://scramblers.bicesterheritage.co.uk/post/bumper-assembly-kicks-off-2023 Quite embarrassing for an outfit like the Scramble to get the model wrong though....200zx??!!
  10. What time did you enter the venue to grab your spots? Might be useful info for future events...
  11. Yes, I did notice that but unfortunately only in the photos after the fact so little I can do about it now ?
  12. I've been thinking a bit more on this and I may have to bail on this weekend. Temps are looking to be slightly either side of zero between now and the event so there's a reasonable chance roads will be gritted between home and Bicester. I don't have my Range with me so no alternative transport. A shame...I was really looking forward but hey ho. Lots of events in the year to look forward to once the weather improves!
  13. Raining here too so I'm thinking I'll still do this weekend. Will see what the rest of the week holds weather-wise but hopefully all ok!
  14. Sure you're not confusing me with a Ferrari??

  16. I don't think so...£270 all in.
  17. I'm not sure if the docs detail who owned my car...they might but it's all in Japanese! I had previously posted on the forum to seek people's thoughts on Lanoguard and the feedback was mixed but less in favour compared to the usual alternatives. Not to intentionally go against the feedback, I recently had the car cleaned and underbody treated with Lanoguard by a local chap I've recently met via another car club I'm a member of. The level of service was fantastic including a home drop-off/pick-up, a free exterior detail and even resolving some issues with the paintwork which we suspect were due to previous detailing faux pas', again free of charge! Here are some before/after photos. He confirmed that there was no visible rust anywhere underneath but he did spot a small amount of surface rust where the tailgate shuts - hopefully something I can touch up without it looking too obvious. He also was able to confirm that I do indeed have Bilstein shocks...B6 Performance to be precise!
  18. Thanks! And are they doing the full rebuild for you or just elements of the work?
  19. Welcome back! Can you share a link to TDI on FB? Would be interested to have a look see...
  20. Yep...not sure about this weekend. No forecast of rain though it is warmer but they were salting the roads as recently as the weekend down here. I've just booked onto this one which is the following weekend and more local to me. Have been to a C&C at this venue before with Collecting Cars which was very good. Not sure this one will be as well attended but hopefully the roads will be cleaner and warmer. https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/surreycarmeet
  21. Lucky we have 2 weeks for the rain to come and wash it all away!
  22. Ok, I've got a well recommended route from Beaconsfield Services on the M40 up to Bicester. I assume that's a good meeting place for everyone coming from the South? It's about an hour drive without traffic and the event starts at 9am. Working backwards, allowing time to enter, park up, etc...I think we should aim to leave the Services by 7.15am. Thoughts? Would this work for everyone? The event finishes at 12noon but I think roads will be too busy for an enjoyable drive after the event. My preference is for the early start.
