  1. But how? It's at right angles:no:
  2. Got it bud! Thanks!! Would love to comment how good it is but can't even get the damned ecu out!! Just can't figure it out and can't find any write ups....
  3. I'm sure you've come across then already but I use some inserts aimed at people with flat feet...arch support, etc...but they are very supportive and very thick. Cost about £25 from boots and last at least 2yrs of daily use! Maybe worth a look if you've not used them before...
  4. How the devils do you remove/fit it?? I've found it, near enough broken my back getting down there but can't seem to figure out how to remove it completely! The screw in the top corner which seems to be holding it to the metal mounting bracket is impossible to get to as there's just not enough clearance. I've removed the two screws visible below the ecu box which appeared to be holding the metal mounting bracket to the body but the thing still won't budge. Any ideas?? I've had to remove the plastic piping which direct air to the feet to get at all of this so far....it's all in bits so would like to finish the job today if possible! lol
  5. I stuck some oil in it as levels were a bit low...seems to have cured most of the noise but there's still some lurking there somehwere. Took a video which I'll post up soon as I can!
  6. About to go and do some other bits on the car so will do so now. Got in late last night and up late this morning so first chance to take a good look now...
  7. Ah fair enough. Thanks for the info. I assume it's ok to drive though for now? Just want to make sure its safe to drive back to London tomorrow!
  8. Ok, not done anything like this before - easy to do or best to take it to a garage? Cheers
  9. It does sound like its near the top of the engine yes. Once I knew it was there I could hear it inside the cabin like it was coming from behind the centre console. Big fix? Easy fix? Issue driving with it??
  10. Car drove fine with no problems only last weekend. Drove up from London to Stoke last night and performance was fine...was only when I pulled into some services and it got quieter that I noticed there was quite a loud clicking/tapping noise coming from the engine. Seems to get louder and faster with revs. Can't think what it might be and as I said, performance doesn't seem to have been affected but very disconcerting, especially as I have to drive all the way back down to London tomorrow! Any ideas as to what it might be?? I did poke my head in the bay but can't figure out exactly where it's coming from. Almost sounds like when my AC compressor went but I know it's not that as AC/fan wasn't on when I hear the noise. Just thinking whether to take it to a garage around here in stoke but then don't want some cowboy having at it either! Help anyone? Cheers!
  11. I got a few of these last time around...even without the Z on the front I think it's a smashing first aid kit for the price!
  12. I had the full set....til some scumbag robbed my flat and took it! Locks all changed over and have keys that look like the belong with a yale door lock! Booo
  13. Sorry to hear dude...but perhaps she just wants to be alone? FB is just as much a place to 'vent' as it is to socialise...maybe? Give her a bit of space and see how it goes? Hope all turns out ok mate.
  14. Problem with mine is the bumper itself! lol...I've never taken one off before and mine's aftermarket to boot. Tried following the instructions once but didn't get very far  ZX-TT...I may take you up on that offer sometime! Not yet though...too much other stuff going on! Unless of course you guys decide to do it soon as a bunch! lol
  15. I'll tell you what - if you're going to be doing headlights I wouldn't mind coming down to join you!! lol...I've been wanting to clean mine and spray the insides black for aaages but not had the time/knowhow to remove them!
  16. I like them but it's still a bit to 'Nissan' and plasticy for my liking. I could never compare one to a Porshe's finish..that's for sure. Still...brilliant car but not sure I'd be happy parting with that much cash for a car that I believe has an interior (aside from the new fangled electronics) that is as sexy as my m1 micra from back in the day!! No offence intended...
  17. Thanks for all the replies guys! Much appreciated....Manta...will pm you re dates/times just to be sure! Cheers all!
  18. I need to arrange for a courier to pick up a parcel in Nottingham and deliver it to London. No massive rush but need to know that it will be treated well and delivered as promised. Also nothing too expensive. Does anyone have any recommendations? Had a look at a few (thanks to google) but none seem to offer 'one off' services...
  19. hahaha...that's brilliant!! What's little c**t! Thing is...i think any one of use could have dealt him the same result!
  20. Happy Birthday dude!!!
