  1. njmworsley - cheers for the offer bud. Sounds like it might be a bad idea driving as it is so might have to give it a miss this time but appreciate the offer! I'm sure I'll need to take you up on it in the future!! haha securicar - good to know thanks! Whereabouts in Croydon are you? From the sounds of things I may well be ok for the time being (I've also just ordered a spark plug tool) but be good keep you in mind for future jobs. Still need to sort out a few electrical bits on the car!
  2. Thanks guys - I don't have internet at home yet as just moved house so wasn't able to search the forums on how to remove the coilpacks so thanks evilanger! I think I can manage to remove the coil packs then and test them out as I've already gotten as far as deducing it's with the plug or the pack. Hopefully be able to sort it myself then (unless it's the plug in which case I'll need a plug tool I think!) Thanks again, much appreciated!
  3. Hey mate Cheers for the offer! Possibly a silly question but if it was one of those that is the issue, would driving on 5 cylinders be ok? It sounds awful but it does drive... Cheers
  4. Hi All Been a while since I've been on here...perhaps a testament to how well the Zed has been running! lol I have a rough running issue which I believe to be related to cylinder 6. I've checked CAS, PTU, injectors are ticking, checked all connections around the engine bay etc. I'm thinking it may be something to do with the coil pack or the spark plug.... ...however, I don't have the tools or know how to go much further. I've just moved house too so don't know anyone local that might be able to assist. So does anyone on here know of anyone in the locale or Croydon / South London that might be able to? Thanks in anticipation! Vig
  5. Problem with the hire times for me is that I work in the City so a lunch hour wouldn't be enough to pop out to pick up/drop off. Plus there's the issue or parking at work...there is none! Think I might have to just buy one of ride a mate's whenever I can....bit disappointing though....
  6. It does mate but the ones I can find local to me are only open 9-4.30 Mon-Sat so as I work usually 8-6 I can't pickup on a Fri or drop off on a Mon without taking time off. Makes me wonder who hires bikes! Was hoping I guess that someone might know a place that maybe doesn't come up on the searches, etc. I was recommended a place by my bike school which is cheap but unfortunately has the same problem with opening hours....
  7. G'day folks! I passed my DAS about 6weeks ago and eager to get onto 2wheels again, even if just for a weekend. I don't want to buy a bike just yet so figured a weekend rental would be the way to go. I've had a search around and found a few places but I have a problem, none of the places I can see offer early/late collection or delivery. The problem is that if I were to hire a bike for a weekend from any of these guys, I would have to take time off work to drop it off on the Monday (having collected on the Sat). Or I'd need time off on the Fri to collect and time off again on the Mon to drop off... ....I know there's a fair few bikers on here and I can't be the only one that has encountered this problem before so really looking for any advice or links to rentals that offer early/late collections?? Stab in the dark I guess....
  8. What He said!! lol...I'd be interested in the same!
  9. I've not seen these before - great job mate!! If anyone decided to make these and sell as a complete unit, I would definitely be interested! Much prefer these to the stainless ones...
  10. Ah wow dude!! That looks SWEET!!!! So happy for you bud!! :balloon::clap:
  11. Ah right! Haha..yea, I spent a month touring Vietnam and Cambodia on a trust Honda GL160! Had an absolutely awesome time!! Shame I could only spend a month there! I did a number of trips this year - another fave of mine was Running with the Bulls in Pamplona!! Another epic experience!! It's amazing the things you can afford to do (time and money) when the Zed is off the road!! lol
  12. Lol...which one mate?? I've been on a few!! Cheers bud!
  13. Just paid via paypal... Cheers
  14. I've got Forza 4 but mine doesn't look quite that good...still looks pretty computer generated IMO....I'm playing on xbox 360 and this is the first time I've bought it...mainly due to the posts on here! Actually find the Zed a beast to handle once I got some power upgrades on it...either that or I'm just awful at Forza! lol...
  15. Ah ok, mate! I may just get them then and let the lads down at CE see if they can work with them! Cheers for all your help bud!
  16. Are they much different? Any pics of them on your car?? Mine are lens all the way around (i.e. no surround) but these may be ok I think in the whole scheme of the car....hmm...
  17. lol...just saw this on the halfords website though... "How can I style my car exterior? The main way to keep your car exterior looking it's best is to keep it clean and polished. You can also invest in stylish alloy wheels (or copycat wheel trims), stylish chrome wiper blades, stick-on graphics and cool coloured halogen under car lighting to maximise its style and give it some individuality." :death::scared::2guns::hang:
  18. Are these them mate? http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_214268_langId_-1_categoryId_165688 Cheers
  19. Speak of the devil! Cheers dude...I looked on the website but couldn't see anything other than bulbs. Guess I'll have to just get down there and have a look... Thanks mate Vig
  20. Will do mate, cheers for the heads up!
  21. They're oval though...
  22. hmm..good shout. Didn't think of ebay...was looking at the likes of demon tweeks, etc... Cheers..fingers crossed!
  23. yea, I'm finding it quite hard to find some. Mine are aftermarket ones fitted in the bumper as per the pic (either side of the grill) but one is completely smashed up so need the housing as well as the bulbs. Any search on the internet comes up with manufacturer/oem fogs which are no good for me...unless I sit for hours looking at every oem light out there to see if it might be comparable to what I'm looking for...
  24. Where do you all source your aftermarket fogs lights from? I need to get a pair for the fronts but they're an awkwards oval shape and not sure where to start looking (aside from Halfords!) Thanks in advance Vig
