Re ant300zx
Thanks guys - yea managed to get through to them on Sat avo after the car had gone off on the recovery truck! Phew...was having a bit of a nightmare for a bit! Stu - I was driven into my a white van back in April and car's been sat in my garage ever since waiting on insurance, etc...it's just bene signed off for repairs to headed to CE to get those done and then take the other party to court as they're arguing liability despite us having an independant engineer's report to say it's 100% them...

Re ant300zx
Does anyone have a contact number for Ant?? Or better still, a contact for Custom Exotics that's not their landline number? My car is due to be recovered to them today but I can't get through to them at all.... Many thanks guys Vig

Forza4 help...
It's not bad....but then this is the first Forza I've ever played. I was always into the old/original NFSU's....so it's very different to that. In terms of gaming I guess it's much more realistic but I can see single player getting boring. I didn't even play online tonight as spent most of my time building up my profile again followed by some split screen with my flatmates which was awesome fun...I get the feeling, as with most xbox games, that it comes into its own when played multiplayer...

Forza4 help...
I am indeed..and as stupid as tthis sounds...I've not noticed before that I've been playing career mode in my offline profile and online with my live gamertag ;-( For example..I played COD offline long before I went online but when I did..I still seemed to have all my weapons..I'm sure of it! But reading into it it seems to be a common problem for people who played offline a while before going Live and creating a NEW gamertag.....sucks ass. Having googled it looks like I might just have to start again...

Forza4 help...
...so I've been playing for hours offline in career mode and tried to play online just now but I can't load my cars from career mode as I have to sign in using my xbox live profile.... Does this mean I can't race my career cars online??? This can't be right surely??

orange mobile
I'm with Orange and have been for a few years but I keep getting bummed on the monthly bill despite being on tariffs that are supposed to included everything I use (internet, txt and calls). I'm on a business tariff and not finishing the contract til next year but desperately looking for ways out of it. Added to the fact that regardless of their union with Tmobile the reception quality and frequency of dropped calls alone are enough to get me to move to another provider. 241 cinema tickets are not enough to keep my custom I'm afraid....

Royal International Air Tattoo
You're probably right there mate! I had a few pics of different planes noted down as F16s but they looked slightly different...this would explain it! lol...I'm no expert when it comes to planes!

Royal International Air Tattoo
Did anyone else get down to this at RAF Fairford (nr Swindon)? I went down on the Sat with my folks as it's been ages since we all went somewhere together and we are all fans of airshows (last one I went to was when I was about 9yo!) Thought I'd upload a few pics I took - I've no experience of taking photos like these before so quite happy with myself but still a lot to learn! Was paying more attention to the planes than the camera tbh! Anyways...let me know what you think... Holidays advice/tips
Hi all I've beenworking too hard for a while now so decided to get myself out and about. I'm off to Lisbon in 2weeks for 4nights with some mates and then off to Vietnam and Cambodia for most of May. Was just looking for any tips/advice from anyone that's been to these places really. First off, Lisbon - going with 3 other guys and staying in a hostel that's fairly close to the centre (i think!). We haven't had a chance to look into what's hot and what's not there so was wondering whether there are any 'must sees' in terms of sights, culture, food/drink, clubs and nightlife?? Second is the big one to 'Nambodia'! I'm flying into Hanoi with a mate and going on an 8day m'bike tour around the north, up to the chinese border and taking in Cat Ba and Halong Bay, etc...promises to be amazing! After this however my mate is heading home to Singapore and I'll be on my own for the next 2weeks. My plan was to travel south towards HCMC and then over the border into Cambodia to Siem Reap and Phnom Phenh (this is where I fly back from). Cambodia is straightforward as I really just want to visit Angkor Wat and PP. Vietnam is simple I guess as I will just travel North to South but I was wondering again, is there anything I should definitely do/see on the way?? Any help is much appreciated!! Cheers Vig

Z Stolen!
Sorry to hear mate, must be gutted!! IMHO, the garage is liable and was wholly negligent. I'd also go along with what's been said already in getting advice through your own insurance company - that's what their legal team is for. CAB would be my second option - end of the day it's just a volunteer service (I used to work at one) so they won't have as detailed advice as your insurers will in this matter. Good luck mate! Hope you get a good outcome...

Bloody hell
That;s the one thing I didn't get a pic of - we were stuck together so I couldn't even get out without moving the car. I didn't think to clamber out of the other sidce as I was sat in the middle lane of a roundabout approach. I did take pics of the junction after though and plenty of pics of my car and his van. Thing is...from the damage I reckon it's obvious he did it. If I'd driven into him there would be damage to the front corner of my car...but the damage and gradient starts at my wheel arch and works back to front.... Will just have to wait and see I guess...
-
Bloody hell
Yea, just a lovely crease along the wheel arch. Had to get the crowbar out to pull it back out so I could get the car home. My own insrance company (Elephant) said that they couldn't guarantee my premium wouldn't be affect even if he admits liability as any accident is taken into consideration, though it's rated it seems. As for custom doing the work, provided the price quoted is in line with what the 'specialists' at the insurers thinks it should cost, it should be fine, so I'm not soo worried. Then again, it's yet to be seen what the other guy's insurer will say!
-
Bloody hell
Not sure yet, I guess it depends on which works out cheaper tbh. Going to do my best to get the other guy's insurance to pay for it but will likely get the car back to Custom Exotics and have it done properly....hoping it won't cost too much as if the guy decides to deny liability I'll probably choose to pay out of pocket than to affect my premium/ncb...

Bloody hell
So I'm driving back from dropping my mum at Heathrow on Sat morning...3.30am start...it's about 6am and I'm about 2mins from home sitting at a roundabout when the white van in the lane next to me decides he doesn't want to follow the white lane lines but instead decides to cut across my lane....despite me sitting in it! Absolutely nothing but bad luck for me and this Zed...:mad2: He even had the nerve to start going off at me for driving into him!! Despite me being absolutely stationary! Soon as I pointed out where the paint/FG was on the road (i.e. a fair way into my lane) he soo shut up and we just exchanged details. Really hope he doesn't try and be a **** and gets it sorted properly through his insurance! Was going to give it a couple of days before calling his insurance company to see what's being done....
-
Should i give him his money back?
Refund less any costs incurred by you in selling via ebay, etc. He should accept that as a half way point. You did let him look over it and didn't hide anything but at the same time you're being a nice chap about it.
