Got a slight missfire.
something else to keep in mind, if you have unburnt fuel caused by your miss fire, this can mess with all emission sensors. Let us know how you get on.

Got a slight missfire.
take out the coil pack, put spark plug in the removed pack, with a piece of wire that has had the insulation removed from each end wrap one end around the threaded part of the spark plug and the other to the negative terminal of the battery. Get someone to turn the engine over checking for a full spark. Obviously this will check plug and pack.

is this right?
Wish it was targa, but the cars kept in my garage and the water is running down from the top of the foot well and I'm losing water. As long as it lasts Z009, I'll get it fixed later.

Forgot to mention to by pass until I get a new matrix. Take

is this right?
Noticed today in the passenger footwell that I had a small water feature trickling down my carpet. Can I just take the rubber hoses off the back of the engine and link the two metal pipes together with a bit of hose? Thanks.

sneaky little water leak from my matrix!!! A cheeky by pass in the morning and we will be on our way, ripping up the A14. Looking forward to the copious amounts of alcohol and 2 nights in a tent. Yi-peeeeeeee. See you all tomorrow:rofl:

Boot build 2
yeah, the targa's still fit in the boot. I have made a foam panel that protects the amps and allows the the roof panels to rest on, securely????? Sort of, maybe not. Nothing a strap won't fix. LOL.:nana2:

Boot build 2
SE Monza kit, unfortunately not trading. You can buy the back scoop as a FG add-on. Not too sure how hard it would be to fit though. Thanks

Boot build 2
Cheers mate, it still allows me access to the spare wheel and jack which was one of my concerns. Thanks. Tony.

Need paint help!
Halfrauds will mix it from the code and supply it in either pot or spray can, don't forget the clear lacquer.

I've looked on the link to try and find out what facilities are available on the site. Do people bring their BBQ's etc? Back seat will run out of room very quickly after the beer is packed. Also, what time is best for Friday? Thanks all, see ya there.....whoo hoo.

Yes mate, a must. Just put mine through M.O.T...............It passed. Ive been to spectrum car re-finishers up on the trading estate for a paint quote today, £3500, not happy with that. I'm now looking for a body shop oven for rent so I can paint her. You will have to let me know when your about. By the look of the other threads that you have submitted, you're always at work. I'd love to look over your motor, she looks lovely.

How do you adjust the size of the image when you post. Feeling a little inadequate and intimidated by the size of some of your pics. Missus tells me this is the least of my problems LOL.

boing boing
Every now and then my speedo needle flips right around to the back-stop and then there is this very quite boinging/chiming sound. Any ideas please, it's bloody anoying 'guestimating' what speed I'm doing when the speedo decides to have a fit? Thanks Tony.

Pictures of trip round Wales
Lovely looking roads, watch the stone chips though. Car looks very smart. Shame about the Scooby LOL.

Would this be ok?
Looks like a handy tool if you are in the motor trade and are dropping/fitting gear boxes all day long, but if rarely used seems a little expensive. Nothing a piece of wood on a trolley jack cant cope with. Only my opinion. On the other hand I suppose if you have the money why not.
