Some troughts after my attempts to be come a Z trader
Good thought, but there in lies the problem. Sit on the cars no revolving cash fund to buy more cars. I can probably get another 2-3 but no sales after that and there will be a problem. I am probably just getting worried, and I am sure the purple TT auto which arrives end of August will get the ball rolling

Some troughts after my attempts to be come a Z trader
As you know I have listed two quite amazing zeds over the past few days, and I have received some incredible comments from the members here regarding my cars and indeed my position about becoming a trader here. I have also been asked to source cars for individuals which I am already on the case. However no one as yet has made any noises about buying or even looking at the two I currently have for sale, maybe I am just being impatient! The whole project for me relies on turnaround to obtain regular cars, so if I have placed myself in the (too perfect ) category for cars then any feedback would be gratefully appreciated. I mean would I be better off getting lower priced cars that are not as pristine as the ones I have already got. My initial thoughts are that everyone seems to want manual TT vehicles over and above anything else. Is that true or am I just presuming? The people I trust the most are the people on this forum, you are all in love with this car and like me most of you have had these forever. So your comments I value. I really want to make a go of this and I even have thought about a name for the trade business ' The Z Shed ' What do you think?. My future as a trader will rely soley on being able to sell cars. Help me with your thoughts please..Garry

Stunning Z No 2 SWB (z32) N/A Manual JUST **22000 MILES** AS GOOD AS NEW!!!
Well her she is the second Z, and I have to say Oh My God!!!. When I saw her in the flesh today for the first time, my jaw dropped. I knew she was going to be special but nothing prepared me for this. THIS CAR LOOKS AND DRIVES LIKE A BRAND NEW CAR!! . Thats all there is to it. The interior is just immaculate, with the original Z carpets in pristine condition. Take a look at the interior pictures and you will see what I mean. the only minor blemish is that the fabric on the door cards has stated to get a little bubbly and needs regluing, but thats it. It even has the original Cassette player, the original steering wheel, and most definitely the original seats (no Bolster wear at all). the targa tops as shown in the picture has the shades fitted. Then there is the engine bay. What can I say it looks like it just arrived from the factory. totally factory and totally pristine. even the matting under the bonnet is perfect. Looking under the vehicle is like looking at a new car. no a blemish anywhere and considering everything is stock, it is just unreal in my eyes. The bodywork is just amazing, sorry to keep using these words but I am really gobsmacked. Gleaming paintwork free of any rust, even the dreaded spoiler is immaculate no paint cracks at all. Yes there are a couple of tiny stone chips, but seriously you will never find a cleaner more original car with less mileage unless you could time travel, and wait for it. this car is 25 years old. Yes a 1990 vehicle with just 22k miles on the clock (37kilometers) Comes with 3 keys!!, the service book, and the user guide. Also because of the mileage I had a JEVIC check done whilst the car was still in Japan. This is an independant company that verifies correct mileage, and will even remove the speedo to check for tampering if needed. I have the certificate and this will naturally accompany the car. Servicing records are from 23k-37k ( 5 times in that period). I have probably forgotten loads so please ask. I am so excited by this car, and this is not just a sales pitch. Come and see it and you will be convinced. It is going in for the MOT and fog light tomorrow so will probably be available early next week. So the question is Who out there wants a 1990 Z in totally stock condition in as close to mint as you could possibly want and all for a measly £7500

Nissan HZ32 1996 Convertible
One Nissan HZ32 in Truly stunning condition!. Gleaming unmarked glossy black paintwork and beautiful tan leather upholstery and trim. This car has covered just 86000k or 47000 miles in 19 years that's just 2480 miles per year! The car has been very tastefully modified having a fantastic set of 19" HRE wheels added. In addition the car has been fitted with Tein adjustable suspension, and an aftermarket stainless steel exhaust, plus HID lights. In addition the vehicle has a very expensive HDD navigation/CD/DVD system. Usually Japanese vehicles don't come with alarms but clearly the original owner treasured this car so much that he installed a top of the range Viper(Clifford) alarm which is all working perfectly. I have all of the instructions for this alarm. The underside of the car is rust free, and I have a whole batch of pictures that I can email potential buyers (gazwoz@aol.com) The convertible top is in perfect condition, and the mechanism works faultlessly. As you can see from the pics the car has been fitted with a bra to protect the vehicle from stone chips. this too is in perfect condition. The engine bay has had a stabaliser bar fitted for added handling. The engine bay is in very clean condition, no traces of any oil leaks now or previously. I have had fitted a brand new set of Hancook tyres, and at the MOT there were no advisories. I have also paid for a trimmer to re-juvinate the seats which were a little worn on the bolsters. these are now perfect. The drivers seat had a small tear along one of the seams, and this to has been repaired by the trimmer (the new owner may wish to consider a panel change to enhance the appearance further) two other things that need attention to make 100% are 1. the wing mirror mechanism needs a fix as when the mirrors are in pressing the button only moves the drivers one back to open position, and they will not close. 2. Underneath the bra, the lacquer has flaked off the plastic bumper and needs re-coating (the paint is perfect). All of the electrics work perfectly and the air con is ice cold. There is service history between 18k and 64k. plus the service book with the initial set up and service check. so interested parties please email me for more pictures and we can go from there...Garry Oh I meant to say that the conversion for the electrics has been very tastefully done with the fog light incorperated into the bottom right oval centre lights, you can probably just make out the red bulb in the picture. The switch has been placed into the middle of a spare blanking cover to the left of the steering wheel. And one more thing I forgot to mention is that the brakes have been upgraded to Brembo's. **DON'T FOR GET THIS CAR IS NOT BEING ADVERTISED ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE FOR 1 WEEK*** UPDATE: ***I have decided to have the drivers seat centre panel replaced as the patch repair was OK but didn't really reflect just how great the rest of the car is. so this is belong done right now and will be back in the car in about a week!!***

Coming Very Soon 2 Stunning Zed's
Hi everyone I mentioned a few weeks ago that I am starting to import quality 300's into the UK. Well the first is here and has just been MOT'd and will be up here tomorrow evening or Wednesday at the latest with the other about a week behind. I just wanted to explain what I am intending to do. Firstly if one of these two sells via this forum I will become a trader and will look to get many more quality cars into the UK from Japan. No rust buckets, no worn out, clapped out cars, just top end low mileage vehicles that I would be proud to own. So if you buy a car from me this is what you will get. I will do all of the donkey work getting the vehicle into the UK. I will also get the car past its MOT, and I will ensure that any advisories are sorted. There may be an odd thing for the new owner to decide if they want to put right, but I promise there will be nothing to fix that will affect the performance of the vehicle. I ALSO INTEND TO OFFER THE CARS FOR A WEEK EXCLUSIVELY ON THIS FORUM. This means no Ebay or Autotrader or anywhere else, meaning that the membership here will always get first option. In addition I will not register the car for that period as it will then be possible for who ever buys the cars to become the first registered UK owner. I have owned 280's all forms of 300's and a 350 in my time, and I love these cars to bits. My favourite car of all time!! This is why I made the decision to import the fairlady over anything else. It hasn't really surprised me that the price of these cars is starting to climb as the car become a sought after classic. Oh and another thing. I intend to import as near to stock cars as I can so that the new owner can decide to make changes if needed, and if I do have one that isn't stock, it will tastefully modified like the one thats coming up tomorrow. I am steering away from bodykits and engine mods, but wheels, exhausts, suspension ,and upholstery are more than likely. So the only thing that I ask is that the price I list is the price!! (no Haggling!!) Yes I intend to make a profit on the sales, but it will be a modest profit as my new venture starts to grow I hope I can get many new customers and will endeavour to build a trust with all who are interested in what I have to offer. Anyway enough now. check the sale section over the next two days...Garry

Returning to the fold
Yes Indeed. Here's a little known fact. If you car has a cracked number plate it will fail an MOT, however if you have no number plate at all then it will pass. How mad is that, but thats why a non registered car can get an MOT or one reason anyway. I am just doing the same with a Chevvy Astro day Van

Returning to the fold
Great question which I have already thought about. I would get the MOT done and any thing like fog lights. as far as registration I will give the buyer the option of being the first registered UK owner, or I will do it and they would be the second. seems fair to me

Returning to the fold
Yes I hear you.I guess the market I am looking at is those buyers who are looking for some thing extra special. so A near new (as far as mileage goes) vehicle in unmolested/modified condition. So I guess I can but try, and see if there is any interest. My original thoughts were that the Z community would be the best place to start as like myself there is a knowledge and desire already there. I do appreciate your thoughts, so thanks for taking the time to reply. Garry

Returning to the fold
So guys what do you think, would there be a market on this forum, if I were to make one or two 300z's available for members. bearing in mind they would not be cheap, as they would be extremely low milage, and in top condition, or would I be better off listing on say classic car's website. My thoughts were to offer here first exclusively for a few weeks. I would appreciate any thoughts on the matter

Returning to the fold
Hi. I was a member in 2007 when I owned a TT LWB model which eventually blew an engine, and I sold on after getting her fixed. Since then I have owned a 350z, but my passion for the 300 has never dwindled and I always find myself trawling through the ads and on Ebay. My view is that appear to be not many decent original vehicles for sale, and with that in mind I decided to have a look in Japan. To cut a long story short I am in the process of getting not one but two over. Low mileage near mint vehicles. My reason for rejoining the forum was to see if there was a need out there for such vehicles from the members, and with that in mind I aim to offer at least one of these cars to members of this forum before listing them anywhere else. Who knows if the demand is high I may well start a 300z import business. Just to give you a flavour of one of the vehicles. A 1990 SWB non Turbo with one owner, and just 22,00 miles on the clock, and an engine bay that looks like it came out of the factory yesterday. Totally stock as far as I can see, and I believe full service history. I would be happy to hear from members as to whether or not there would be a need for something like this for the Z community in general. Happy days and its good to be back..Garry

Unknown warning Light can anyone help
Thanks guys. a bit more info. I started smelling fuel a few days ago which appeared when the engine was cold. this morning I raised the bonnet, and switched on the engine and was literally hit in the face by a jet of fuel coming from a pipe. This must have been happening for a couple of days. Also yesterday just before this pwer loss started I smelled what i can only describe as amonia in the car for a few minutes. i have smelled the rotten eggs of a blown cat before, but this was different. it was shortly after this that the cat overheat light came on. so i have fuel being sprayed over the engine, and this cat overheat light. having fixed the fuel leak, the power loss is still there. do you think i have damaged the cat??

Unknown warning Light can anyone help
I have a warning light come on and I don't know what it is. I have lost power and the engine is hunting at idle. The light sits next to the handbrake light, and looks like a diagram of a piece of an exhaust with steam coming from it. Can anyone send me a scan of the warning lights page from a 1993 TT. gazwoz@aol.com..Cheers

Electric Window not working Motor??
Hi Wonder if anyone can help. My drivers side window has stopped operating, although strangely after a week or so, it started again, but only for a couple of days, however it would go down smoothly, but would make a horrible noise on the way up, and stick unless i manually pushed the glass in which case it would move up. now totally dead. do you think it is the motor, and if so after removing the door card, how do i get to it to replace it. I did notice that the switch wiring goes into a small black box, which clicks when the switch is depressed. any advice would be greatly appreciated..Garry
