  1. This is most definitely a late model z. I went to see it, as its just down the road from me. The original owner went to japan and imported it himself, and it was sold on to the current owner in May I believe. He called me up and asked if I would be interested in selling it for him. I checked the vin as I wanted to be sure, and it was made in 1999. The bloke who went to Japan bought it in 2000, hence why it is listed as a 2000 model. I wasnt sure why the spoiler was the older one, and, the bodywork needed some TLC, but what stopped me saying yes, was the condition of the engine bay, where most of the connections had rust on them. I believe since then the car has been through a body shop and the engine has been cleaned a little. Personally I think it would sell at £5995. just not as tidy as it could be. Its not a bad car, although the guy that bought my black SWB also went to see it and said it wasn't pulling like he thought it should and couldn't believe the difference when he got into mine.
  2. My word, that Z31 is absolutely magnificent
  3. Gaz. I have just found out that the car in question is actually a NA with a turbo engine transplanted. The chassis number is GZ-32054273. So that's the reason it has the NA front end and the cover
  4. Andy, firstly welcome to the club! As Alic has pointed out, I am the importer for the club, and currently have two for sale, although the black one has someone coming 300 miles this weekend to see it. It is however a swb and not a 2+2. The other one would definitely fit the bill. It is a late model twin turbo in as near pristine condition as possible considering the age, plus it has a virtual full service history. The only non standard item is the exhaust and ICE otherwise just as you would want it to be. Clearly your interest will be decided by your budget, because this is not a cheap car, but it is an amazing one. Check out the full 30 pictures in the selling section, and also have a look at PhilD's comments about it, as he came to have a look and a drive a couple of months ago.
  5. Time to dance naked mate. Its a Twin turbo http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282463493925?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  6. Well Ladies and Gents. Here for your perusal is an absolute monster The Very Rare Short Wheel Base Slicktop Twin Turbo Automatic. Registered in Japan 5th April 1993, and as you will see from the pictures is in simply stunning original condition. Everything about this car is original. The wheels, the Exhaust, The Body, and everything else. And to cap it off it has only done just under 10,000 miles since new. I had the car JEVIC inspected to confirm the mileage was true, and it came back with a certificate to show that the mileage is absolutely correct. I have had this car for some time, but have waited until now to release it as it needed some things attending to. As you hopefully all know, I have a motto which states that I would not release a car that I wouldn't be happy to own myself, and this car needed some love and attention. Because it has basically sat around in Japan for many years and not covered many miles, things had started to deteriorate, and I have taken my time and had them all replaced before allowing the car to become available. So the first thing that needed to be addressed was that both top hoses had started to perish, so these were replaced, along with the water pump which had a leaky seal, again due to non use. Whist the top hoses were being done, I asked my mechanic to replace the timing belt, as he already had the front off. Luckily when he checked the old one, it was found to be pitted and was showing signs of starting to perish, so the timing belt has now been changed. The two rear shocks were weeping, again due totally to lack of use, and these have been replaced. 4 New Hancook Tyres fitted because the originals had started to crack on the walls Finally I have has new Plugs, filters etc installed and the car given a service, and it is now in perfect working order. The car will be given a brand new MOT before the new owner takes the car. So This incredible vehicle is now ready for a new challenge, and quite frankly who ever gets her will be getting an almost brand new car. 10,000 miles in 24 years means just over 415 miles per year No RUST!! . All of the sills and wheel arches are just perfect and underneath is also in top order If anyone is looking for a totally unmolested car with the original 'everything' then this should be the one to aspire to. In addition it has the electronic climate control and cruise control as added options Naturally with a 24 year old car there are going to be a few minor surface scratches, but even these are at a bare minimum, just a few tiny stone chips and surface marks on an otherwise gleaming black gloss surface There is one little paint blemish on the near side wing at the front where the paint has starred, and the off side corner of the rear spoiler has a little bubbling under the surface. The are all very minor, but worth pointing out The interior is all original too. The radio cassette works , and all of the electrics work as they should do, including the folding mirrors There cannot be many better early examples than this
  7. Welcome to the Club Yorky, and good luck with your search
  8. Morning all Here is my latest import. This one is in the most incredible condition possible. I would put this car right up with the very best examples anywhere Immaculate Paintwork Spotless Engine bay Pristine Interior Totally Rust Free 50,000 miles on the clock This car arrived just before the new year. Flew through the MOT with no advisories The car was brought by its second owner in Japan in 2009. who has spent over 10K on the car in the period between 2009 and 2016. It has been serviced every year from 2009 and has only covered ,5000 kilometeres in that period. The services in some cases show just 3-400 km's per year in between services. I have all the documented proof of this The paintwork on this car has to be seen to be believed. absolutely stunning midnight purple that just pops! in the sunlight No more than the very odd tiny mark The interior is also amazing. The rear seats have been leather covered along with the handbrake and console box. The lighting has had an HID upgrade There is a full Panasonic Strada DVD/SD/MD in car entertainment system that also sports rear reversing camera and audio warning Scratch free steering wheel and handbrake Underneath the car is just perfect. no a speck of rust anywhere, and no drops of oil either. The wheels are BBS alloys and are absolutely perfect. there is not one blemish on any of the four rims whatsoever The exhaust is a near brand new stainless Apexi The timing belt was changed on the car less than 4000km ago and so will not need doing very unusually this car has been fully undersealed and protected in Japan it also has a Nissan remote control entry I believe that this car was owned by someone who took it to shows as it was clearly hardly used since 2009, and serviced every year without fail There has been no mucking about with the engine, no performace boosting etc, and apart from the wheels and exhaust is as standard as you could hope to get This car is without a doubt the best example to date that I have obtained, and does come at a price £9500 Not for the feint hearted I agree, but with some example on offer at over £10k and above this car stands up to any of them
  9. Hi and welcome to the club. I am the importer for the club and have had some really nice Z's introduced into the club (including Kingsleys). As Gaz mentioned I have a midnight purple NA for sale. Next week I will have a TT here as well (although I am certain I have a buyer for it). I just thought that you may like to come and take a drive in both of them which will help you in your quest. I am not trying to sell you anything here, just helping out if I can
  10. Check this new import out on my trader forum, along with many pictures
  11. Hi check out my trader pages for all the details on this new import
  12. Adam Firstly welcome to the club. you are in good hands here secondly I would ask you to check out my traders page. I am the official importer of the 300zx for this club and have managed to get some quality vehicles for some of the members on this forum. I noticed that you are interested in a SWB TT and as luck would have it I have a very sought after slicktop SWB TT arriving from Japan next week sometime. It has covered just 10,000 miles from new and is in superb condition inside and out. I think I put a few details on my traders pages when I won it at auction some 8 weeks ago. Anyway again, good to have you on board Garry
  13. I agree with you, but it really is the way these cars are going. Regarding the other one. I can only get a price if it is something I have enquired about, and on that one I didn't sorry to say
  14. So The white CZ32 looks great doesn't it. Here is the official translation Grade R, interior C, exterior C, first registered June 1996, five-speed manual gearbox, power steering, power windows, airbag, ABS, alloy wheels, AC, front inner panels dented, repair history graded A, fog lamp, T-bar roof, right front fender has marks from be removed and put back again, AC does not work, engine area oil leak, seats have grime, animal hair inside vehicle, minor scratches and minor dents, exterior paintwork has repair marks, marks as per map So repair history. AC not working, Oil Leak on the engine, Grimy seats with pet hairs and it still sold at auction for 768,000 yen, thats just short of £5k, then £3K to get it here with all the costs, then you have to fix all the issues, and get the MOT and Fog and you would be in at arounf £10k...so further evidence that these cars just keep rising in price
  15. No it's because our favourite cars are climbing in price. just look at where the 280z sits and it's not a patch on the z32
  16. I was looking at this one. here is the translation. Interior B, first registered June 1994, 300ZX Twin Turbo model, five-speed manual gearbox, AC, service book, original alloy wheels, power steering, power windows, leather, T-bar roof, 2-by-2, front power seats, black leather seats, original five-speed transmission, two owners from the same family, some service history, steering wheel worn, seats have minor cracks and are worn, console worn, wheels scratched, AC does not work, minor scratches and minor dents, front bumper scraped, shallow U2 on lower left side step, front windshield has stone scratches, other marks as per map so with the Aircon not working, dent on the side step leather seats cracked and worn , steering wheel worn, and a worn console, plus scratched wheels this still sold at auction for 5k that would be around 9k to have it here thats without mot and fog lights thoughts?
  17. Sorry I can't attend now. I have a three day convention to attend in London> I was looking forward to this as well
  18. So sorry to hear about this. Get well soon
  19. Darren Welcome to the club
  20. The translation for this one is as follows Interior C, exterior C, first registered October 1995, 300 ZX Twin Turbo model, FAT, AC, power steering, power windows, first time in auction, t-bar roof, scratches and dents underneath vehicle, interior grime, steering wheel worn, seats have minor stains, seats have minor wear, door trim has cuts and minor tears, door mirrors scratched, marks as per map sold at auction for just under 500,000 yen or £3000 making it £4500 approx here without anything being done to it. Cost of MOT, and fog light to be added so nearer £4900. then there is the damage at the front end to sort out and the torn door cards. So this would probably come out at £5400 as is. I tell you the prices are on the up and up by the day!!!
  21. Here is the auction translation for that car: I was looking at it myself Interior C, first registered January 1994, 300ZX twin turbo 2-seater standard roof model, FAT, AAC, service book, power steering, power windows, leather, black leather seats, aftermarket 19 inch alloy wheels, aftermarket HDD navigation system, adjustable suspension, aftermarket muffler, seats and steering wheel worn and scratched, wheels scratched, door mirrors scratched, scratches and dents and repairs, bonnet and roof have stained paintwork, left front door and rear bumper have worn paintwork, other marks as per map
  22. Thank you Lee
