LOL yeh thanks Dave i know what you mean. I was out with your brother on Thursday testing my boost controler and it happened then,but with these tubs theres like two power bands the first comes in about 4K which took me to about 1bar and then about 5K which just went apeshit up to 1.5K.I never notriced as i was hanging on to the wheel for dear life.It was only when Shaun shouted Fooking Hell stop did i look at the gauge LOL. Anyway ive got it sorted now and im running at 1Bar but bloody hell its still quick. Steve

Yeh cheers ian i know. Im off to Canada next month and ive arranged to get it mapped on my return.Thats why i am trying to keep it at 1 bar until then. I have it now where it sometimes peaks just over (not much) but i think i have a leak on one of the welded joints which i had to fabricate going to one of the turbos which is giving me inconsistancy with the air flow.

No nothing which suprised me mind you i was teying to pull myself out of the seat by the steering wheel to notice to much but the engine sounded great.

I finaly got around to playing with my boost controler yesterday after finaly finding all my boost leaks.Now the problem starts with understanding the layout of the Blitz DSBC_R.I thought i had set it at 1 bar (nice and safe) that was until i floored it JEEZZUS CHRIST i was wheel spinning in 4th the torque was amazing,i looked at the boost gauge and it was reading 1.35 bar(dangerous) Anyway no damage done but the hit was better any drugs ive ever done LOL.Who the fook needs nitros with acceleration like that.These GT28Rs are the bollax. :nana2: :nana2: I was checking my Kalvins for unwanted easter eggs.

Hi Dave i did this conversion to mine this Feb and its a great upgrade. Allthough i did need 3mm spacers to clear the calipers.

Thanks guys just a couple of small leaks to stop the hunting and itl be a little trip to a Mr Dixons for some serious mapping. In fact i might even do Warrington next Saturday now :hyper: :hyper:

Ive finaly found the leak thats been stopping my car reving past 4.5K Theres a rubber pipe that goes on to a small metal pipe down near the near side intercooler which had split at the bottom. Its the first time i have been able to run it with a steady 10psi (still in safety) with the GT28R tubs.And JEEEZZZUS its quick.I havnt smiled like that for ages i was shaking LOL :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Nice one Tony i still have the same problems allthough i hope to take it some where to get it sorted this week. Im still only running 10psi myself as it still wont run higher than 4.5K revs. maybe a trip to C+S Woods next week as im completly stumped now. :headvswal

Blow out at 90...
i had the same thing happen to me TWICE on the same stretch of road out side Shrewsbury doing about 90. But to be honest they where both front wheels and the Z handeled it realy well.If id been in my BM id have sh1t myself.

Ive allready tried one and cas,PTU,changed all the injector connectors,coilpack connectors,plugs. Cant think of anything else.

Ive changed everything and i mean everything. Its since i put my engine back in im begining to think i may have pulled one of the intercooler pipes on the left bank,as its the only place i havnt looked. Also since the new coilovers with it being as low as a snakes ar5e i might have cought it.

Thanks ive allready changed that and the conector. This problem is realy starting to get to me now.I think i will have to take the bumper off and work from the intercoolers back.And see if theres any loose hoses. Thanks Steve.

Be my guest Allthough im now thinking of putting my boost gauge on a single A pillar pod and putting a oil temp where he boost is,so i have the 3 across the dash and 1 on the A pillar.
