Ok, so do I run a wire from the reverse light to the fog light switch on my dash & earth it? Or do I have to put in another switch? Then change the bulb for a 21w red bulb.

Thanks for that, I also need to sort out a rear fog light & like the idea of utilising the inner brake lights good. I dont like the idea of an add on rear fog.

I have just purchased UK dails for my import which arrived in Southampton 15 May. It appears to be a good option? My requested help/advice is, do I need todo anything else? Just plug in the connectors? (KPH to MPH dials 180mph) Any help welcome Arthur

Help required! My Z is sitting somewhere in Southampton docks! (15th May) Hoegh Antwerp of Hoegh Autoliners AS was the ship & it docked in Southampton on the 15th May. I have the B/L, Commercial Invoice & Japanese Export Certificate. Also have a C 384 (Vessels) is this the right one? All I want to do is pay the Import Duty & VAT (how, where?) Go to the port & transport it home to then get work done for MOT & Register! Any Z member imported without a clearing agent? Any advice appreciated. Art

Did not know the system has to be bled? coolent is clear no oil in water no water in oil! Having said that I think head gasket! but compression test good!

Hi I have changed the rad, water pump, Thermastat stat, rad cap,! idle fine had compression test fine oil fine! Onto motor way over 3000 rpm water boils and header tank fills! Any Any ideas! Arthur

Thanks for all the comments. The zx or rx7 will not be my daily car! I was looking at importing an rx7 with 80km. I really did enjoy the Z so a rx will be totally diferent! Anyone imported a car or used a broker or both? What price do the brokers command? Thanks Art

Hi Dave I owned a TT one for 4 years. The one Im going to look at has got a replaced low milage engine & turbos. Im no mechanic & will test from cold & then take it for a 30 mins drive. Cheers for the advice Arthur

I replaced front ones DIY style. removed front struts off car, then a local engineering firm (yellow pages) pressed old ones out & pressed new bushes in. Took him 1 hour. Charged me a tenner. You need to use the grease provided with the bushes to get them to slide in. The type of press is called a Fly Press I think? The rear ones not sure about. Arthur

Hi Mate Im not sure! I dont mind, my past Z had cloth which I liked. Will check it out & let you know, if reports come back ok about it. I wonder if I might miss the umph of turbo power? I have been without a car for 8 months, no! no ban. Been in Tenerife all this time, now due back around 13-14 March. Do you have an induction kit or any mods? Is there much difference between the SWB & 2+2? Am I about to start WW3 with a question like that! Like what coluor is best, or TT or not. First jobs will be lights & clear side repeaters.
