Just to add i agree with Dave as i too have lost faith in the Police, just thought i'd look at both sides. My wife called the police on Friday as some kids were breaking into the garden sheds, we then got a call on Sunday from the HQ to ask if we were happy with the officers handling of the situation, we took little delight in informing them that we never heard from any officers and we are still waiting. :headvswal

The female officers behaviour was bad but maybe she had a bad day and just wanted to get out and forget about police work. I'm sure we have all been stressed out about something and taken our frustration out on an innocent party. This doesn't excuse her behaviour but sometimes its good to blow off a little steam, i wouldn't take it too personally Dave as a the police do a thankless job and i guess the alcohol made her tongue a little looser.

If your unsure about doing it yourself ask at your local scrap car yard/scrappy if he could recommend someone to do it for you, thats what i did and i got the number for a guy from RAC windscreens. He removes and re-fits any windscreen/rear window for only £25 cash in hand.

yes they fit fine. it works out better to buy 2 sets as this reduces the shipping costs so ask a friend or someone near you with a Z to buy in with you. It works out about £68 if you buy them yourself as he charges $52 (£26) for shipping one set and $70 for 2 sets.

Thanks guys, it is a fibreglass bumper. I have already posted in the wanted section for the side brackets. I thought i would have to re-use the upper bumper bracket that attaches underneath the headlight pannel but i don't think it will allow the bumper to sit properly, it also causes the headlight panel to sag slightly if i don't fit it. I also noticed from your pics Manta that you did not re-fit the bumper re-enforcer, let me know if this is correct as a few of the bolts sheared on mine and this would save me drilling and re-tapping. Cheers Carl, the side brackets were so bad they just fell apart so i don't know what they should look like to make some. Will try some of the guys who are breaking cars and see if anyone has any decent brackets but they will probably be just as bad as mine were i think. Cheers Carl much appreciated.

I'm sure i read on here a few weeks ago about someone getting their air con re-charged at Kwik-Fit for only £40 as its a new service they are doing.

Yes i looked at that but apart from the bumper re-enforcer what else do i need to keep. The side brackets are totally wasted but do i need them for the Strosek, i know i won't need the under tray as the bumper is very deep. Cheers for that though Carl.
