  1. The wheels already failed (both of them) thats why they're in 2 pieces. Look at the pic, there is no sign of a flattened end due to impact. A mate gave them to me like this so i've no idea what happened but seeing as the alloy wheel repair place claim they can repair any damaged alloy i thought i'd send them a pic. They've not replied yet.;)
  2. I've emailed an alloy repair centre in Carnwath (Scotland) to see if they can repair 2 alloys for the Zed. Here's a pic of one, the others the same but still has the tyre on. What do you think.
  3. Happy Birthday Everyone!!!
  4. Happy Birthday!!!:duffer:
  5. Thanks Dave! Thats the first real answer to my question lol. Thanks to everyone else for letting me know what you've got.;)
  6. Looks like it was a good day. Wish i could have been able to come along. Maybe one day!:duffer:
  7. Happy Birthday Stevie!!! :duffer: Have a good one!
  8. I thought it was that guy who was on the Candy Tunnel run thing with Wozzer last year? If so that doesn't look like him.
  9. I should have said this was 20 years ago. Now i feel old:cry: Also it was his own fault as he was operating the lathe with ripped overalls and the trailing rip got caught in the chuck.
  10. Its the same method the professionals use only the wheels are mounted on a large lathe (with an emergency stop button) the guy who used to polish my wheels worked alone though so if his arm gets dragged in by the machine he's fecked as there will be no-one there to push the button:slap: I saw a young apprentice getting dragged in by a lathe in a turning/milling machine shop, not a pretty sight but we all got sent home:mac1:
  11. I hope his family get a chance to see this, just to let them know he's not forgotten. R.I.P.
  12. Not my fav song but very memorable Simple Mind's -Don't You (forget about me) - from the movie - The Breakfast Club
  13. Just wondered why i could see everyones vote before i voted as i've never seen it like that before.
  14. Why can i see who voted for what? Its not normally like this.
  15. i tried to clean my wheels like that once, it gets very hot and i nearly broke my fingers on the bolts of the split rims:slap:
  16. Well here's hoping they can do something. That other doctor sounds like a right cnut, how anyone can say they can't remember the op after the pain he put your dad through is a joke unless he's done that many feckup operations that this is one of many.
  17. I started reading this in The Sun this morning but got side tracked. Not a nice thing to happen to anyone, does this mean he will always be in pain? £1 million is nothing when you think about what he's endured, i fell really sorry for him and your family.
  18. Is that your graduation pic in The Sun then?
  19. Thats the material these seats have too and for the life of me i couldn't remember what it was called so played it safe and said cloth:slap:
  20. How easy is that to do?
  21. My old UK z had both electric seats too, i was talking to BAZZ earlier and he has a manual passenger seat but the cloth seats he is removing from his breaker are both electric so he wanted to take the electrics out of the cloth one and fit to his leather but after i checked my book i don't think its possible. Had to edit that as i said he had a manual electric seat doh!!!
  22. Is there a difference between manual and auto plenums?
  23. The only way you will know for sure is getting under the car and removing the shield. I think you can remove this without removing the exhaust its just a half dozen or so 10mm nuts but it does sound like the prop bearing or mount.
  24. Is it possible to take the subframe and other parts from an electric (material) passenger seat and fit them to a manual leather passenger seat to make this fully electric? I looked in my manual and don't think it can be done but thought i'd run it past you guys first before i give up lol.
  25. I thought it was me lol as i was sure i saw pics of the rocker covers ready for painting, i've just realised that was another thread. Anyway they all look really good so thats the main thing, looks like you done a lot of prep work so they should stay looking good for longer.:duffer:
